- Develop the school's educational plan to proactively and flexibly carry out and complete the school year program.

The Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) directs educational institutions to build their school's educational plans, teaching plans for subjects, educational activities, and lesson plans according to regulations;

Schedule the program implementation effectively, ensuring scientific, pedagogical principles without causing pressure on students;

Flexible organization in teaching subjects and educational activities suitable to the local, school conditions, and student demographics, ensuring that students meet the program requirements by the end of the school year.

- Implement the general education program

The Department of Education and Training directs educational institutions to implement the primary education level's general education program according to the professional guidelines on primary education issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, specifically:

- Ensure a ratio of 1 classroom per class, physical facilities, student numbers per class according to the primary school regulations;

Provide the minimum required teaching equipment as per regulations, ensuring a ratio of 1.5 teachers per class and the teacher structure to teach all subjects, educational activities, and organize two-session-per-day classes as per guidelines.

- Implement the teaching of mandatory subjects, elective subjects, and educational activities as stipulated by the primary level's general education program;

Organize activities to reinforce students' completion of study content, educational activities that meet students' needs, interests, and talents;

Activities to explore nature, society, culture, history, and local traditions.

- Organize two-session-per-day classes, with no more than 7 lessons per day, each lasting 35 minutes; implementing at least 9 sessions per week with 32 lessons per week;

The educational plan ensures a reasonable distribution among educational content, helping students complete study tasks, meeting program requirements;

Facilitate students' learning of elective subjects and participation in educational activities to achieve comprehensive education goals in primary school;

The timetable should be scientifically arranged, ensuring a reasonable balance among teaching content and educational activities, with reasonable time allocation for each day and week suitable for primary school students' psychological and physical characteristics.

- For primary education institutions that do not have sufficient conditions to organize two-session-per-day classes, According to teaching the correct and sufficient content and duration of mandatory subjects prescribed by the program, the primary education institution shall actively determine the content, choose the organizational form, allocate appropriate duration for elective subjects when conditions permit, reinforcement activities, and other educational activities.

- Develop plans for organizing semi-boarding with content and forms suitable to practical conditions, agreed upon voluntarily by students and their parents, following the guidelines and regulations of the managing agency;

Semi-boarding activities are organized from after morning classes until before afternoon classes commence, contributing to training students in life skills, necessary competencies, qualities, discipline, self-service, responsibility, sharing, and love; organizing semi-boarding activities should be flexible and can include activities such as organizing lunch, napping, playing, and entertaining... for students;

Organize lunch and semi-boarding in compliance with safety and food hygiene regulations, ensuring students' nutrition and health.

- Organize activities for students outside of formal school hours According to student needs and interests, from after formal school hours until they are picked up by their parents;

According to students' needs and interests, activities can be organized in the form of club meetings or using the school's facilities (library, playground, exercise grounds, multi-functional rooms...) to facilitate students' play and entertainment; organizing activities after formal school hours in the form of club meetings must be approved by the competent authority.

- The first semester ends before January 18, 2025, and the school year ends before May 31, 2025.

- The recognition of completion of primary education and recognition of junior high school graduation occurs before June 30, 2025.

- Enrollment for the first grades is completed before July 31, 2025.

- The high school graduation examination in 2025 is expected to take place on June 26 and June 27, 2025.

- Other national examinations are organized according to the regulations and guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training.
