- Based on reality, the Department of Education and Training annually publicizes the high schools that teach the Integrated English Program.
- The number of integrated classes is from 25 to 35 students/class.
+ If the number of students who pass and submit the application for integrated English learning is not enough 25 students, the integrated English class will not be opened at that school.
+ Students who have submitted their application will be considered to transfer back to study at a school that offers an integrated English class but also has the quota or to be considered for 10th grade according to 03 aspirations or to change the appropriate type of study.
- Eligibility: Students graduating from lower secondary schools in Ho Chi Minh City within the prescribed age range and must meet the conditions of one of the following two groups:
Group 1: Students participating in the Middle School Integrated English Program in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam must meet the following conditions:
- Students participating in the 10th grade entrance exam for high school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
- Students register for 2 aspirations of the Integrated English Program (option 1 and choice 2).
Based on the high school 10th grade entrance exam scores and the average score of the Integrated English Program, these students will be prioritized for placement in schools that offer the Integrated English Program.
Group 2: Students who do not participate in the Middle School Integrated English Program in Ho Chi Minh City must meet the following conditions:
- Graduated from junior high school with the category of Good or above.
- Students participating in the 10th grade entrance exam for high school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. In addition to the 3 prescribed subjects of Literature, Mathematics, and Foreign Languages, students must register and take the integrated English exam.
- Students register for 2 aspirations of the Integrated English Program (option 1 and choice 2).

How to calculate the score of Group 1:
The calculation of the entrance exam score for the Integrated English Program is as follows:
- Admission score = Literature score + Foreign Language score + Math score + GPA of the Integrated English Program (on a 10-point scale).
Admission is only for candidates who are allowed to participate in the entrance exam, have completed all the prescribed exams, have not violated the Regulations in the entrance exam and have no test scores of 0 (zero).
How to calculate the score of Group 2:
The calculation of the score for the Integrated English Program is as follows:
- Admission score = Literature score + Foreign Language score + Math score + Integrated English exam score (on a 10-point scale).

Schools that do not enroll 10th graders in the 2022-2023 school year in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam?
Pursuant to subsection 2, Section VI, Notice 1127/TB-SGDĐT-KTKD in 2022, note on admission procedures:
- If the number of students who pass and submit the application is not enough 25 students or more, the integrated English class will not be opened at that school.
- Students who have submitted their application will be considered to transfer back to a school that opens an integrated English class but also has the quota or to be considered for 10th grade according to 3 aspirations or to change the appropriate type of study.
Thus, for integrated English classes with less than 25 students, an integrated English class will not be opened.
In addition, according to the provisions of Notice 1466/TB-SGDDT in 2022, the list of schools that do not enroll students in grade 10 is:
By 5:00 p.m. on May 9, 2020, the number of candidates who registered for the integrated aspirations of the four schools above was not enough to open classes according to Decision No. 773/QD-UBND dated March 21, 2012 of the City People's Committee.
