Pension and Social Insurance Benefit Payment Schedule:
- Cash payment: starting from August 14, 2023, to August 25, 2023.
- ATM payment: starting from August 14, 2023, to August 15, 2023.
Additionally, the Post Office will settle the pension payment for August 2023 with the Social Insurance of Thu Duc City and districts before 4:00 PM on August 26, 2023; Social Insurance of Thu Duc City and districts will send the increase or decrease report for September 2023 before 4:00 PM on August 28, 2023.

Due to the National Day holiday from September 1, 2023, to the end of September 4, 2023, the pension and social insurance benefit payment schedule for September 2023 will be adjusted as follows:
- Monthly pension and social insurance benefit cash payment: starting from September 5, 2023, to September 25, 2023.
- Monthly pension and social insurance benefit ATM payment: starting from September 5, 2023, to September 6, 2023.
The Post Office will settle the pension payment for August 2023 with the Social Insurance of Thu Duc City and districts before 8:00 AM on August 23, 2023; Social Insurance of Thu Duc City and districts will send the increase or decrease report for August 2023 before 8:00 AM on August 25, 2023.

- Increase by 12.5% on the pension, social insurance benefit, and monthly allowance levels of June 2023 for subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of Circular 06/2023/TT-BLDTBXH already adjusted according to Decree 108/2021/ND-CP dated December 7, 2021, of the Government of Vietnam on adjusting pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances. Specific details are as follows:

Furthermore, according to Circular 06/2023/TT-BLDTBXH and Decree 42/2023/ND-CP, individuals eligible for the pension increase will receive retroactive payments for the pension amount not increased in July 2023.
Therefore, the pension amount received in August will include the increased pension according to the policy of Decree 42/2023/ND-CP and the difference as a retroactive payment for July 2023.
The social insurance agency is responsible for paying the pension to eligible pension beneficiaries (Article 98 of Law on Social Insurance 2014).
Beneficiaries residing in specific localities will receive their pension payments from the respective local social insurance agencies.
