What are the conditions for re-examination of the rate of bodily harm for wounded soldiers in Vietnam?
According to Article 28 Decree 131/2021/ND-CP guiding the Ordinance on Incentives for people with meritorious services to the revolution stipulates the conditions for wounded soldiers in Vietnam and re-evaluation of the body injury rate as follows:
- War invalids have the following special injuries: If the patient now has a relapse leading to the following conditions, he/she should be re-examined:
+ Injury to the brain with a skull defect or a metal fragment in the skull causing complications leading to mental disorders or paralysis.
+ Wounds that penetrate the lungs cause complications such as thickening of the pleura or atelectasis, leading to the need to cut the lung or lobe of the lung.
Heart injury that requires surgery.
+ Intra-abdominal wound: Stomach or intestine causing complications in the stomach or intestines or intestinal obstruction requires surgery to resolve complications.
+ Wounds in the liver; bile, spleen; pancreas or kidney or bladder surgery to resolve the complication.
+ Injuries to the spine cause paralysis or urinary incontinence.
+ Recurrent hand or leg injuries requiring amputation surgery.
+ Recurrent eye injury leading to complete blindness; Injury to the ear causes complete loss of hearing in both ears.
- Injured persons who have been examined and assessed and concluded that the rate of temporary body damage has been assessed shall be re-inspected after 3 years to conclude the rate of permanent body damage.
- The injured person has been examined and assessed, but there are still wounds or pieces of metal.
- Persons who have been injured many times, have obtained the certificate of injury for each time and have been examined for assessment but have not been injured for a number of times, shall be entitled to additional examination of the wound.

According to Article 45 Decree 131/2021/ND-CP guiding the Ordinance on Incentives for people with meritorious services to the revolution stipulates:
- In case war invalids are re-assessed the body injury rate according to regulations, preferential regimes are being enjoyed. be adjusted from the month the Medical Assessment Council has the authority to conclude the body injury rate after re-examination.
- In case the body injury rate is re-assessed according to regulations, but the competent medical assessment council concludes that the body injury rate due to injury is 21% or more, they will be entitled to preferential regimes. for wounded soldiers from the month of May, the Medical Assessment Council has the authority to conclude the body injury rate.
