The Government of Vietnam's report on the 2023 socio-economic development plan's performance and the projected 2024 socio-economic development plan presented by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the 6th Session, 15th National Assembly, indicates: In recent years, despite the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Vietnam has aggressively increased revenue, saved expenses, and accumulated a salary fund of approximately 560 trillion VND to ensure sufficient resources for salary reform as per Resolution 27-NQ/TW 2018 from July 1, 2024, over three years from 2024 to 2026.

The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam stated that the Government of Vietnam will implement salary reform policies for the public sector as per Resolution 27-NQ/TW 2018 by the Central Committee from July 1, 2024.
