How much is the fine for using a fake driver's license of Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 21 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (This is amended by Clause 11 Article 2 of Decree 123/2021/ND-CP) stipulating penalties for violations against regulations on conditions of motor vehicle drivers as follows:
“Article 21. Sanctions for violations against regulations on conditions of motor vehicle operators
...
5. A fine ranging from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of less than 175 cm3 and vehicles similar to motorcycles who commit one of the following violations. The following:
a) Do not have a driving license or use a driving license not issued by a competent authority, or have the driving license erased;
b) Have an international driving license issued by the countries participating in the 1968 Convention on Road Traffic (except for the international driving license issued by Vietnam) but do not carry a national driving license;
c) Using an invalid driving license (The driving license has the number of blanks written on the back that does not match the number of the latest issued blank in the information system of the management of the driving license).
6. A fine ranging from VND 2,000,000 to VND 4,000,000 shall be imposed on persons aged between full 16 and under 18 years operating automobiles, tractors and other vehicles similar to cars.
7. A fine of between VND 4,000,000 and 5,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of 175 cm3 or more or three-wheeled motorcycles committing one of the following violations. this:

b) Do not have a driving license or use a driving license not issued by a competent authority, or have the driving license erased;
c) Have an international driving license issued by the countries participating in the 1968 Convention on Road Traffic (except for the international driving license issued by Vietnam) but do not carry a national driving license;
d) Using an invalid driver's license (The driving license has the number of blanks written on the back that does not match the number of the last issued blank in the information system of the management of the driver's license).
8. A fine of between VND 5,000,000 and 7,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers of cars, tractors and other vehicles similar to cars that commit one of the following acts:
a) Having a driving license but its expiry date is less than 3 months;
b) Have an international driving license issued by the countries participating in the 1968 Convention on Road Traffic (except for the international driving license issued by Vietnam) but do not carry a national driving license;
c) Using an invalid driving license (The driving license has a blank number written on the back that does not match the number of the latest issued blank in the driver's license management information system)."
Pursuant to Point a, Clause 5, Article 21 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (This is amended by Clause 11 Article 2 of Decree 123/2021/ND-CP) stipulates:
- A fine ranging from VND 1,000,000 to VND 2,000,000 shall be imposed on operators of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of less than 175 cm3 and vehicles similar to motorcycles using a fake driving license, not due to a license of Vietnam. issuing authority
Pursuant to Point a, Clause 7, Article 21 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (This is amended by Clause 11 Article 2 of Decree 123/2021/ND-CP) stipulates:
- A fine ranging from VND 4,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 shall be imposed on drivers of two-wheeled motorcycles with a cylinder capacity of 175 cm3 or more, or three-wheeled motorcycles using fake driving license of Vietnam, not by the issued by the competent authority.
What is the additional penalty for using a fake driver's license of Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 10, Article 21 of Decree 100/2019/ND-CP (This is amended by Clause 11 Article 2 of Decree 123/2021/ND-CP) stipulating additional forms of sanction for acts use fake license of Vietnam as follows:
“Article 21. Sanctions for violations against regulations on conditions of motor vehicle operators
...
10. In addition to being fined, vehicle drivers committing violations shall also be subject to the following additional sanctioning forms:
a) Committing the acts specified at Points a and c, Clause 5; Point b, Point d Clause 7; point c clause 8; Point b, Clause 9 of this Article is also subject to the additional sanction of confiscation of driving licenses not issued by competent authorities, erased driving licenses, invalid driving licenses;
