According to the provisions of Section 1, Appendix 2 issued together with Official Letter 3187/BHXH-CNTT in 2020 on the performance of public services of the Sector on the National Public Service Portal issued by the Vietnam Social Security, providing guidance on payment. Online Renewal of health insurance cards in Vietnam according to specific households as follows:
Step 1: To perform this DVC, you need to log in to the National Service Portal
Step 2: On the Menu on the Home page, select "Online payment" and then select "Continue to pay voluntary social insurance, renew health insurance".
Step 3: In the screen below, select the service "Renew health insurance card by household"
Step 4: Enter the health insurance card code, select the number of months you want to renew and perform the search. (At this step, you need to note, the health insurance card code must be the card number of the person participating in health insurance according to the household (with the first 2 characters being "GD"). warning).
After you enter the correct information, the screen will display the search information according to the entered health insurance card code.
In this step, you choose the beneficiary bank of the social insurance agency (you should choose the same bank with the bank you open the account to avoid paying inter-bank transfer fees). Next, click the "Payment" button.
Step 5: When you click the "Payment" button in the above step, the Payment Platform screen will be displayed for you to choose the bank or payment intermediary you have an account with.
For example, select Vietcombank and then click the "Payment" button.
The system will navigate through Internet Banking page of Vietcombank.
Step 6: Login to your Bank account to make payment.
Step 7: The system will display the payment information again for you to confirm. If the information is correct, click the "Confirm" button.
Step 8: Confirm the payment by entering the OTP code sent by the Bank to your phone.
Step 9: When the payment is successful, the system will navigate back to the interface of the National DVC Gateway with the message "Payment successful".

Step 1: On the National Public Service Portal, select the menu "Online payment / Continue to pay voluntary social insurance, renew health insurance" as the service above, then select "Continue to pay voluntary social insurance".
Step 2: Enter the social insurance number and then click the "Lookup" button (if you do not remember the social insurance number, you can click the "Look up the social insurance number" button to perform the search).
If you enter the correct social insurance number, information about the participant, payment method, payment time and information about the social insurance agency will be displayed for you to check.
In this step, you choose the beneficiary bank of the social insurance agency. Next, click the "Payment" button.
Step 3: Payment gateway screen - Payment Platform will show you the choice of the Bank or payment intermediary with which you open an account to make the payment.
For example, select Vietcombank and then click the "Payment" button.
The system will navigate through Internet Banking page of Vietcombank. The operations on the Internet Banking interface of your bank are similar to Steps 6, 7, 8 in the payment service Renewing health insurance cards by household.
When the payment is successful, the system will navigate back to the interface of the National DVC Gateway with the message "Payment successful". At the same time, Vietnam Social Insurance will send a notification message to the phone number registered with the social insurance agency.

Click Payment, the screen switches to Vietcombank's Payment Gateway interface. Here, log in with your employer's account:
Note: The employer can request the bank's assistance in decentralizing direct payment to the unit's bank account to make payments on the National Public Service Portal.
Successful login, the screen will display payment information for the unit to check:
Tick "I have read, understand and accept Vietcombank's Electronic Payment Regulations...", click Confirm, the system will send a verification code (OTP), enter the verification code.
Click the “Confirm” button, the screen will return to the interface of the National Public Service Portal announcing the transaction results.
+ Click “Download receipt” to download payment receipt.
+ Click “Transaction history” to review the history of transactions. At the transaction history screen, the unit can reload the payment receipt (if necessary) by clicking on the words "View receipt"
After successful payment is made, the electronic transaction system of Vietnam Social Security will send a notification message to the phone number registered by the employer with the social insurance agency.
