Article 55 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP regulates the bonuses for various Orders as follows:

1. Individuals awarded or posthumously awarded Orders receive a Certificate, a frame, and an Order with the following bonuses:
a) “Gold Star Order”: 46.0 times the statutory pay rate;
b) “Ho Chi Minh Order”: 30.5 times the statutory pay rate;
c) “Independence Order” First Class, “Military Merit Order” First Class: 15.0 times the statutory pay rate;
d) “Independence Order” Second Class, “Military Merit Order” Second Class: 12.5 times the statutory pay rate;
dd) “Independence Order” Third Class, “Military Merit Order” Third Class: 10.5 times the statutory pay rate;
e) “Labor Order” First Class, “Feat Order” First Class, “National Defense Order First Class”: 9.0 times the statutory pay rate;
g) “Labor Order” Second Class, “Feat Order” Second Class, “National Defense Order” Second Class, “Great National Unity Order”: 7.5 times the statutory pay rate;
h) “Labor Order” Third Class, “Feat Order” Third Class, “National Defense Order” Third Class, and “Bravery Order”: 4.5 times the statutory pay rate.
2. Collectives awarded Orders receive a Certificate, a frame, and an Order, with the bonus being double that of individuals as stipulated in Clause 1 of this Article.
Therefore, the bonus for the Great National Unity Order is 7.5 times the statutory pay rate.
The current statutory pay rate is 1,800,000 VND/month (According to Clause 2, Article 3 of Decree 24/2023/ND-CP).
Thus, the bonus for the Great National Unity Order is 13,500,000 VND.
However, from July 1, 2024, when the wage reform is implemented, the statutory pay rate will be abolished. Therefore, there may be new guidance on bonuses in the near future.

What are the criteria for awarding or posthumously awarding the Great National Unity Order of Vietnam according to the latest regulation of 2024?
Based on the provisions of Article 22 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP, the criteria for awarding or posthumously awarding the Great National Unity Order are as follows:
The criteria for awarding or posthumously awarding the Great National Unity Order to individuals who well comply with the guidelines of the Communist Party, policies, and laws of the State:
(1) The Great National Unity Order is awarded or posthumously awarded to scholars, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, ethnic minority individuals, exemplary entrepreneurs, overseas Vietnamese, and other individuals who have contributed significantly, have great merits, and exceptional achievements in building the great national unity bloc as recognized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
(2) Holding one of the following positions: Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front from 05 to under 10 years, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for 10 years or more, or having at least 15 consecutive years holding the head position of member organizations in the Vietnam Fatherland Front system from the provincial level or higher.
The subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 22 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP if already awarded or posthumously awarded Orders as regulated in Articles 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15; 19, 20, 21; Clause 1 of Articles 16, 17, 18 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP, will not be considered for awarding or posthumously awarding the Great National Unity Order.
What are the requirements for the award and receipt of emulation titles and commendation forms according to the latest regulation?
Based on the provisions of Article 25 of Decree 98/2023/ND-CP, the requirements for the award and receipt of emulation titles and commendation forms are as follows:
- The organization of award ceremonies must honor the collectives and individuals, educate the patriotism tradition, and revolutionary ideals; link with patriotic emulation movements and the tasks of socioeconomic development, ensuring local and national defense and security; ensure safety, solemnity, frugality, efficiency, and avoid ostentation and formality.
- Practicing civilized lifestyles, preserving cultural values, and national identity in award and reception ceremonies for emulation titles and commendations.
- Not organizing separate award and reception ceremonies for emulation titles and commendations. Ceremonies should be combined with national major celebrations, the establishment, and traditional days of ministries, commissions, localities, units, summary conferences as per specific programs and carried out conformably with Decree 98/2023/ND-CP (except in cases of awarding commendations for exceptional achievements, resistance achievements, and the title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother").
- Representatives of the leadership, families, or households receiving the collective commendations directly receive the emulation titles and commendations. Individuals receiving commendations directly accept the emulation titles and commendations. In the case of posthumous awards, the family representative receives on behalf.
- Awarding emulation titles and commendations follows the ranking from higher to lower. For the same commendation form, it is awarded to collectives and households first, individuals later; awarding before posthumous awarding. If the emulation title and commendation form are decided by the same level of commendation, the emulation title is awarded first, the commendation form later; given to the collective first, households and individuals later; awarded before posthumously awarded.
- During the announcement, awarding, and receiving of emulation titles and commendations, unauthorized persons should not offer flowers, film, or photograph on the stage. There should be no parades or receptions for the awarded emulation titles or commendations.
