Pursuant to Article 4 of Circular 06/2022/TT-UBDT of Vietnam stipulating as follows:
Types of reporting regimes on ethnic minority affairs in Vietnam
1. Periodical reports on ethnic minority affairs are issued to meet the requirements of general and comprehensive information to serve the direction, administration and performance of state management functions of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs performed in a definite cycle and repeated many times.
2. Thematic reports on ethnic minority affairs are issued in response to requests for in-depth information on a topic in the field of ethnic affairs to serve the direction, administration and performance of functions. State management of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs and is carried out one or more times in a certain period of time.
3. Unscheduled ethnic minority affairs reports are issued in response to requests for information on unscheduled issues in the field of ethnic minority affairs.
Thus, there will be three types of ethnic minority affairs reporting regimes as follows:
- Periodic reports on ethnic minority affairs
- Thematic ethnic minority affairs report
- Unscheduled ethnic minority affairs report

What principles must be ensured when the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs is issued?
Pursuant to Article 3 of Circular 06/2022/TT-UBDT of Vietnam stipulating as follows:
Principles of promulgating the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs
1. To ensure the timely, accurate and complete provision of information to effectively serve the management, direction and administration of the competent authorities in the field of ethnic affairs; serve as a basis for the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs to report to the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; for the People's Committee of the province to implement the reporting regime to the People's Council of the same level in the field of ethnic affairs.
2. The contents of the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs must conform to the provisions of documents promulgated by competent agencies. Data on implementation of the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs must be consistent and accurate, ensuring convenience for aggregation, updating, sharing, exploitation and use.
3. The reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs must be consistent with the promulgation authority prescribed in Article 7 of this Circular and Article 6 of Decree No. 09/2019/ND-CP; the object of reporting request, ensuring clear, consistent, synchronous, feasible and not overlapping with other reporting regimes.
4. Implement the regime of reporting ethnic minority affairs in electronic documents and digitally signing on the reporting system.
Thus, the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs, when issued, must ensure the following principles;
- To ensure the timely, accurate and complete provision of information to effectively serve the management, direction and administration of the competent authorities in the field of ethnic affairs; serve as a basis for the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs to report to the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; for the People's Committee of the province to implement the reporting regime to the People's Council of the same level in the field of ethnic affairs.
- The content of the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs must conform to the provisions of documents promulgated by competent agencies. - Requirements for the issuance of periodical reporting on ethnic minority affairs
+ Periodic reporting on ethnic minority affairs must be promulgated in legal documents or administrative documents of competent authorities;
+ The promulgated periodical reporting on ethnic minority affairs must include the components specified in Clause 2, Article 11 of Decree 09/2019/ND-CP of Vietnam;
- Requirements for promulgating the reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs
+ The reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs is promulgated in legal documents or administrative documents of competent authorities;
+ The reporting regime on ethnic minority affairs must include the content components specified in Clause 2, Article 10 of Decree 09/2019/ND-CP of Vietnam;
- Requirements for promulgating the regime of irregular ethnic minority affairs reports
+ The regime of irregular ethnic minority affairs reports is issued in administrative documents of competent authorities;
+ The regime of reporting on unexpected ethnic minority affairs must include the components specified in Clause 2, Article 9 of Decree 09/2019/ND-CP of Vietnam;
