Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 6 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP, the subjects prioritized in recruitment of public employees are as follows:

Pursuant to Article 6 of Decree 115/2020/ND-CP stipulating as follows:

Priority in recruitment of public employees in Vietnam
1. Subjects and priority points in the entrance exam or admission:
a) Heroes of the Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, War Invalids, and beneficiaries of policies like Class B War Invalids and War invalids: 7.5 points will be added to the second round score;
b) Ethnic minority people, military officers, police officers, professional servicemen, cipher workers who change majors, graduates of reserve officer training, graduates of military training only; commanders of the commune-level military commands of the grassroots military branch shall be conferred the rank of reserve officer who has registered for the rank of reserve officer, children of martyrs, children of wounded soldiers, children of sick soldiers, children of beneficiaries of policies such as: war invalids, children of war invalids of class B, children of resistance activists infected with toxic chemicals, children of Heroes of the Armed Forces, children of Heroes of Labor: 5 points will be added to the results of round 2;
c) Those who have completed the military service, the obligation to join the people's police, and the volunteer youth members: 2.5 points will be added to the second round score.
2. In case the candidate for the entrance exam or admission is in multiple priority categories specified in Clause 1 of this Article, only the highest priority score will be added to the second round score.

The recruitment exam is conducted in two rounds as follows:

Round 1: General knowledge test

- Exam format: Computer-based multiple-choice test.

In case the exam is held on a computer, the content of the multiple-choice test does not include the computer exam.

In case the competent recruitment agency or unit is not yet able to organize the computer-based exam, the multiple-choice test will be conducted on paper.

- The exam content consists of 3 parts, the exam time is as follows:

+ Part I: General knowledge, 60 questions of understanding about the law on public employees, the Party's guidelines and guidelines, policies and laws on the recruitment industry and field. Exam time is 60 minutes;

+ Part II: Foreign languages, 30 questions as required by the job position in one of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, Chinese or other foreign languages by the head of a competent agency or unit decision recruitment. Exam time is 30 minutes;

Round 2: Exam for specialized professional subjects

- Examination form: Based on the nature, characteristics and requirements of the job position to be recruited, the head of the agency or unit competent to recruit shall decide one of three forms of examination: Interview; practice; writing exam.

- Exam content: Test the candidate's knowledge and skills of professional activities according to the requirements of the job position to be recruited.

The content of the specialized professional exam must be based on the tasks and standards of professional and professional competence of the public employee's professional title and must be consistent with the requirements of the job position to be recruited.

In the same entrance exam, if there are job positions with different professional requirements, the agency or unit competent to recruit public employees must organize the development of different specialized professional subjects corresponding to the requirements of the job position to be recruited.

- Exam time: 30 minutes for the interview (before the interview, candidates have no more than 15 minutes to prepare); 180 minutes written exam (not counting the time to copy questions); The duration of the practical exam shall be decided by the head of the agency or unit competent to recruit, based on the nature and characteristics of professional activities of the job position to be recruited.
