Recruitment Council for Provincial People's Procuracy Officials: Who Has the Authority to Make the Decision on Its Establishment?
Who Decides on the Establishment of the Recruitment Council for Provincial-level Procuracy Officials?
Pursuant to Article 17 of the Regulations issued with Decision 401/QD-VKSTC 2021, the following provisions apply:
Recruitment Council
1. The Recruitment Council is established before each recruitment period. When organizing selection exams, it is the Selection Council; when organizing recruitment exams, it is the Recruitment Council.
2. The official Recruitment Council of the Supreme People's Procuracy is decided upon establishment by the Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy. The Council consists of 05 or 07 members, including:
a) A Deputy Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy acts as Chairman of the Council;
b) The Director of the Personnel Department acts as Vice Chairman of the Council;
c) Representatives from some related units, as recommended by the Director of the Personnel Department, act as Members;
d) One official from the Personnel Department acts as Member and Secretary.
3. The official Recruitment Council for the Higher-level People's Procuracy and Provincial-level People's Procuracy is decided upon establishment by the respective Chief Procurator. The Council consists of 05 or 07 members, including:
a) A leader of the Higher-level People's Procuracy, Provincial-level People's Procuracy acts as Chairman of the Council;
b) The Head of the Personnel Department or the head of the unit advising on personnel affairs acts as Vice Chairman of the Council;
c) Representatives from some professional units related to the position to be recruited act as Members;
d) One official from the unit advising on personnel affairs acts as Member and Secretary.

How Long Until the Recruitment Results of Procuracy Officials Are Announced?
Based on Article 18 of the Regulations issued with Decision 401/QD-VKSTC 2021, the following provisions apply:
Announcement of Recruitment Results
1. At the latest 10 days after receiving the results of the second round from the Recruitment Council or the advising unit on personnel affairs in the absence of a Recruitment Council, the recruiting agency must publicly post the recruitment or selection results, and the provisional list of successful candidates at the office and on the agency's electronic information portal; send written notices of the recruitment or selection results to the candidates according to the addresses they registered.
The notice must clearly state the deadline by which the successful candidates must come to the place registered for recruitment to complete the recruitment procedures as per regulations and the time to receive the recruitment decision.
According to these regulations, at the latest 10 days after receiving the results of the second round from the Recruitment Council or the advising unit on personnel affairs in the absence of a Recruitment Council, the recruiting agency must publicly post the recruitment or selection results, and the provisional list of successful candidates at the office and on the agency's electronic information portal.
Simultaneously, they must send written notices of the recruitment or selection results to the candidates according to the addresses they registered.
How Long Is the Deadline to Complete the Recruitment Dossier for Procuracy Officials?
According to Article 19 of the Regulations issued with Decision 401/QD-VKSTC 2021:
Completion of Recruitment Dossier
Within 30 days from the date of receiving the successful result notification, the successful candidate must go to the registered recruiting agency to complete the recruitment dossier.
In case the successful candidate has legitimate reasons and cannot complete the recruitment dossier in time, they must submit a request for an extension to the People's Procuracy needing to recruit before the completion deadline.
