Criteria for auctioneers
An auctioneer must fully satisfy the following criteria:
1. Being a Vietnamese citizen permanently residing in Vietnam, abiding by the Constitution and law, and possessing good ethical quality;
2. Possessing a university or postgraduate degree in law, economics, accounting, finance or banking;
3. Having graduated from an auction training course prescribed in Article 11 of this Law, except where he/she is exempted from such a course under Article 12 of this Law;
4. Having passed the examination of auction practice internship results.
Thus, according to the above regulations, graduating from the auctioneer training course is one of the mandatory criteria to become an auctioneer.

On February 21, 2023, the Vietnam Judicial Academy issued Notice on enrollment of the 15th auctioneer training course in Ho Chi Minh City in accordance with the 2023 enrollment plan.
Accordingly, the Detailed Program of the 15th auctioneer training course (a combination of face-to-face and online) was issued together with Decision 1187/QD-HVTP of the Director of the Vietnam Judicial Academy.
- Form of training: Credit-based training (20 credits).
- Training period: 06 months.
- Diploma: Certificate of graduation from the auctioneer training course

+ In Hanoi: Judicial Academy, Tran Vy Street, Mai Dien Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi City.

Participants:
- Holders of university diplomas or higher in one of the majors of law, economics, accounting, finance, or banking and have worked in the field of training for 03 years or more (counted since obtaining a university or post-university diploma in one of the law majors, economics, accounting, finance, banking).
What are the admission fee and the tuition fee for the auctioneer training course at the Vietnam Judicial Academy?
The tuition fee and admission fee specified in Section 5 of Notice 167/TB-HVTP in 2023 are as follows:
- Admission fee: 200,000 VND/01 candidate.
- Tuition fee: Comply with Decision 1706/QD-HVTP dated December 28, 2021 of the Director of the Vietnam Judicial Academy. To be specific:
+ The tuition fee is 15,870,000 VND/student/course (Fifteen million eight hundred and seventy thousand VND even).
Each year, the above tuition fee may increase in accordance with the law and the decision of the Director of the Vietnam Judicial Academy.
+ Candidates eligible for the tuition fee exemption and reduction and applicable conditions as prescribed in Article 2 of Decision 1706/QD-HVTP dated December 28, 2021 of the Director of the Vietnam Judicial Academy must prepare and submit the application for preferential treatment immediately upon submission of the application: (02 notarized or certified copies of birth certificates + certificates, invalid cards ... Certificate/Certificate of graduation from training courses according to the social needs of the Vietnam Judicial Academy).

- The admission application shall comply with Form issued by the Vietnam Judicial Academy

Each candidate submits 02 sets of physical applications, including:
- 02 Curriculum vitae (according to the form of the Judicial Academy);
- 02 Photo registration forms for enrollment (according to the form of the Judicial Academy);
- 02 application forms for confirmation of working time in the auction sector of 03 years or more certified by the agency/working unit (according to the form of the Judicial Academy);
- 02 certified copies of a university diploma or higher in one of the majors of law, economics, accounting, finance, and banking. For overseas diplomas, there must be a certificate from the Quality Management Department of the Ministry of Education and Training or a document identifying cases where equivalent diplomas are not required;
- 04 4x6 photos (specify the candidate's full name and date of birth on the back side of the photo);
- 01 stamped envelopes clearly stating the candidate's contact address.

After preparing all the documents, the candidate sends the application and pays the admission fee of 200,000 VND to the Vietnam Judicial Academy in the following ways:
