Prohibited Actions for Students

Pursuant to the provisions of Article 37 of the Charter for secondary schools, high schools, and multi-level schools issued together with Circular 32/2020/TT-BGDDT, students are prohibited from the following actions:

- Insulting the dignity and honor or infringing upon the physical integrity of teachers, school staff, other individuals, and fellow students.

- Cheating in learning, tests, examinations, or admissions.

- Buying, selling, or using alcohol, beer, tobacco, narcotics, other stimulants, fireworks, or explosive substances.

- Using mobile phones or other devices during class that do not serve the purpose of learning and without the teacher's permission.

- Fighting or causing disturbances to order and security within the school and in public places.

- Using or exchanging cultural products with violent or debauched content; using toys or playing games that are detrimental to one's healthy development.

- Committing other prohibited acts as prescribed by law.

Disciplinary Measures for Frequently Late Students

Pursuant to sub-section 1, Section 3 of Circular 08/TT of 1988 of the Ministry of Education and Training, the following provisions apply:

III. Forms of Disciplinary Measures:

According to the Ministry's regulations, disciplinary measures for secondary school students who commit infractions in fulfilling their rights and duties are executed in five specific forms, as follows:

1. Reprimand before the class:

Students will be reprimanded before the class for one of the following infractions in the course of implementing school rules, their rights, and duties:

- Skipping class without permission for 3 or more sessions within one month.

- Failing to memorize or complete lessons as assigned by teachers 3 or more times within one month.

- Being late for school or not bringing tools for labor activities as prescribed by the school 3 or more times within one month.

- Using vulgar language, gambling (playing the lottery), smoking, etc.

- Committing violations of prohibited actions outlined by the school, even once, if it has adversely affected the comprehensive education at the school such as cheating or encouraging others to cheat during tests, displaying disrespectful attitudes or behaviors towards teachers, parents, friends, and others, causing division within study groups, shielding or agreeing with peers' wrongdoings, failing to report known misbehaviors to the school for prompt preventive measures, or other violations with equivalent harmful nature.

- The decision to reprimand before the class will be made by the class homeroom teacher after consulting with class committee members and will be promptly announced in the weekly class meeting, followed by a report to the Principal for tracking.

As per the above regulations, students who are late for school as prescribed by the school for 3 or more times within one month will be reprimanded before the class.

- National emblem: must be written in uppercase letters and centered on the page.

- Title: must clearly state the purpose of the report, written in uppercase letters, and centered on the page.

- Must include the date of report creation.

- Address field: clearly state the recipient and also centered on the page.

- The report must clearly include the information of the writer, such as name, age, class, etc.

- Next is the time and reason for the infraction that prompted the report.

- A promise from the writer concerning the infraction.

- Finally, the signature of the writer and the signature of a parent.
