According to the plan set out in Plan 06/KH-UBND in 2023 as follows:
- Estimated expense: Total 27,665,008,000 VND (Twenty-seven billion, six hundred and sixty-five million, zero hundred and eight thousand dong). The expenses will be exactly determined according to the actual volume after being approved by the competent authority:
+ Expenses for purchase of artillery shells, rental of guns and shooting equipment, transportation and technical support; organization of training courses; payment to forces on duty; purchase of materials for the construction of fireworks displays for the Lunar New Year 2023 shall be VND 25,498,420,000 (Twenty-five billion four hundred and ninety-eight million four hundred and twenty thousand dongs).
- Expenses for the firework display on New Year's Eve in 2021 = 2,166,588,000 VND (Two billion one hundred and sixty-six million five hundred and eighty-eight thousand dongs)
At the same time, the funding sources for the implementation are taken from the socialization fund of the City and districts, and towns in accordance with the provisions of Directive 19-CT/TW in 2022 as follows:
Local leaders, based on the actual situation, decide to organize the firework display to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023 in accordance with local conditions and capabilities without using the state budget, ensuring safety and saving.
What is the firework display time at 30 venues in Hanoi?
According to Plan 06/KH-UBND 2023 on organizing the firework display on the Lunar New Year 2023 in Hanoi as follows:
- The firework display time is 15 minutes.
- The firework display shall start from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 22, 2023 (ie New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year 2023).
