What are guidelines for Organizing the week of citizen activities for Students in Educational Institutions in Vietnam for the 2024-2025 school year?
According to Section 5 of Official Dispatch 4824/BGDDT-GDCTHSSV in 2024, the guidelines for organizing week of citizen activities for students in educational institutions in Vietnam for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
(1) Materials for Speakers
- Study materials to understand the resolutions of the 8th and 9th Central Committee Conferences of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party drafted by the Central Propaganda Department; documents for learning and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh according to the guidelines of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Education and Training; directives, resolutions of the Communist Party, and policies of the State.
- Training materials, teaching guidance, professional and operational training drafted, published by the Ministry of Education and Training and relevant authorities, and prepared by educational institutions.
- Guidelines for the execution of political education tasks and student affairs for the school year 2024 - 2025 by the Ministry of Education and Training; regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on training, political education tasks, and student affairs.
(2) Materials for Students
- Documents by the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Education and Training, and relevant authorities published for students.
- Materials on student affairs: University-level training regulations, regulations on student affairs for regular university programs, regulations on assessing the training results of students in regular university programs, regulations on student residency at educational institutions within the national education system, materials on gender education, anti-drug and social evil, prostitution, HIV/AIDS; internal regulations of the school.

- Promote education to enhance students' awareness of human rights, their rights, and responsibilities as citizens per the Constitution; the fundamental, necessary legal regulations related to students such as Law on Education, 2019, Law on Higher Education, 2012; Amendment and Supplement Law on Higher Education, 2018 and other relevant documents.
- Disseminate and thoroughly understand the directives of the Ministry of Education and Training; provide knowledge and regulations on students' rights and responsibilities, and policies for students; regulations on training, student affairs, Youth Union, Association activities, school counseling; ensuring school security and safety; school social work; internal rules and regulations, key tasks of the school.
- Organize discussions for students about the regulations, directives, and regulatory documents on students' policies to identify difficulties, and issues that need adjustment.
