What Principles Must Students' Uniforms Adhere To?
Based on Article 3 of Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDDT, the regulations are as follows:
Principles of Wearing Uniforms and Ceremony Attires
1. Principles of Wearing Uniforms
a) Ensure aesthetics, appropriateness with the gender and age of the students, cultural identity of the nation, and characteristics of each locality, while ensuring stability and reflecting the school's tradition.
b) Suitable for weather conditions, convenient for learning, living at school, and participating in other activities.
c) Ensure economic savings, suitable for the economic and social conditions of each locality and school.
2. Principles of Wearing Ceremony Attires
a) Ensure uniformity within each school or each training sector.
b) Ensure aesthetics and educational value at graduation ceremonies.
c) Ensure differentiation among graduates of different training levels: intermediate, university.
d) Ensure scientific nature and reflect the cultural beauty of traditional Vietnamese customs.
3. In cases where organizations or individuals from within or outside the country sponsor the cost, the uniforms and ceremony attires must comply with the regulations in this document and must not abuse sponsorship for advertising purposes.
4. Encourage ethnic minority students to use their traditional attire on holidays, festivals, and on non-uniform days at school.
According to the above regulations, students' school uniforms must adhere to the following principles:

What Standards Must Student Uniforms Meet?
Based on Article 4 of Circular 26/2009/TT-BGDDT, the regulations are as follows:
Uniform Standards
1. Summer uniforms include:
a) Shirt and trousers or traditional long dress.
b) Shoes or sandals with straps.
c) The school's badge is attached on the left chest or the outer middle of the left sleeve (for general education students); attached on the left chest (for students of professional secondary schools and universities).
For female students, if a skirt is used, its length must cover the knees.
If the long dress is chosen as a uniform, it is only applicable for female students of high schools, professional secondary schools, and universities.
2. Winter uniforms include:
a) Coat.
b) Trousers or a skirt as in the summer uniform (for females).
c) The school's badge is attached on the left chest or the outer middle of the left sleeve (for general education students); attached on the left chest (for students of professional secondary schools and universities).
3. On non-uniform days, students must dress neatly and cleanly, ensuring seriousness when coming to school.
Thus, based on the above regulations, students' uniforms must meet the following standards:
- Summer student uniforms include:

What Responsibilities Do Students Have Regarding Their Studies?
Based on Article 82 of Education Law 2019, students have the following responsibilities regarding their studies:
- Study and train according to the program, educational plan, and code of conduct of the educational institution.
- Respect teachers, staff, and workers at the educational institution; unite and support each other in learning and training; comply with the rules, regulations, and policies of the educational institution; adhere to the provisions of law.
- Participate in labor and social activities, as well as environmental protection activities suitable for their age, health, and abilities.
- Preserve and protect the assets of the educational institution.
- Contribute to building, protecting, and promoting the tradition of the educational institution.
