Based on Article 3 of Circular 31/2020/TT-BGTVT, the regulations are as follows:

Price Framework for Ferry Service Use

1. The price framework for ferry service use, as stipulated in tables numbered from 01 to 09 of the Appendix issued with this Circular, is the framework issued for each ferry terminal on national highways.

2. The price for ferry service use stipulated in Clause 1, Article 3 of this Circular includes value-added tax.

Based on Article 1 of Circular 37/2022/TT-BGTVT, the regulations are as follows:

Amend and supplement some articles of Circular 31/2020/TT-BGTVT dated December 8, 2020, of the Minister of Transport, stipulating the price framework for ferry service use on national highways invested by state budget, managed by the central government

1. Amend and supplement Clause 1, Article 3 as follows:

The price framework for ferry service use, stipulated in tables numbered from 01 to 11 of the Appendix issued with this Circular, is the framework issued for each ferry terminal on national highways.

Referring to Clause 1, Article 2 of Circular 37/2022/TT-BGTVT:

Add some tables to the Appendix issued with Circular 31/2020/TT-BGTVT dated December 8, 2020, of the Minister of Transport, stipulating the price framework for ferry service use on national highways invested by state budget, managed by the central government

Add Table 10, Table 11 corresponding to Appendix I, Appendix II issued with this Circular.

Accordingly, the price framework for ferry service use from March 1, 2020, has been adjusted, adding Table 10 and Table 11 corresponding to Appendix I and Appendix II issued with Circular 37/2022/TT-BGTVT.

Note: The price for ferry service use includes value-added tax.

Who is exempt from ferry service fees?

Based on Article 4 of Circular 31/2020/TT-BGTVT, the subjects exempt from ferry service fees are:

- Ambulances, including other vehicles transporting accident victims to emergency medical facilities;- Fire engines;- Agricultural and forestry machinery including tractors, tillers, weeders, and threshers;- Dyke protection vehicles; emergency vehicles for flood and storm prevention;- Specialized vehicles for national defense and security, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery trucks, vehicles transporting armed forces;- Funeral vehicles and funeral processions;- Escort and guiding vehicles and convoys;- Vehicles on duty transporting medicines, machinery, equipment, materials, and goods to disaster-stricken areas or epidemic zones;- War invalids, sick soldiers, students, children under 10 years old (including those riding bicycles). For these cases, necessary documents (either original or certified copy) such as war invalids', sick soldiers' cards, or certificates, and student cards or school certificates must be presented.
