In 2024, what are the eligibility requirements for applying for the recruitment of civil judgment enforcement officials in Vietnam?

Under Section 2 of Announcement 62/TB-TCTHADS 2024, the eligibility requirements for applying for recruitment of civil judgment enforcement officials in Vietnam arre specified as follows:

(1) At the Vietnam General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement

- For candidates applying for the position of official managing civil judgment enforcement, administrative judgment enforcement, and settling complaints and denunciations about judgment enforcement:

+ Have a university diploma or higher majoring in law.

+ Have skills in using basic information technology, using foreign languages at a level equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework.

- For candidates applying for the position of information technology application official in civil judgment enforcement

+ Have a university diploma or higher majoring in information technology or informatics.

+ Be able to use foreign languages at a level equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework.

- For candidates applying for the position of planning development official (in the basic construction investment sector)

+ Have a university diploma or higher majoring in construction.

+ Have skills in using basic information technology, using foreign languages at a level equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework.

- For candidates applying for the position of clerical official: Have an intermediate diploma or higher with a field of study or major in administrative clerical, clerical - archival, archival, archival, and information management.

In case of having an intermediate diploma or higher in another major, a certificate of clerical professional training issued by a competent training institution is required.

- For candidates applying for the position of Personnel and Organization official:

+ Have a university degree or higher in law, relevant administrative fields related to human resources work, human resources management.

+ Have skills in using basic information technology, using foreign languages at a level equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework or using ethnic minority languages for officials working in ethnic minority areas as required by the job position.

- For candidates applying for the position of accountant:

+ Have a university degree or higher in accounting, auditing, or finance and do not fall under the cases specified in Article 52 of the Accounting Law 2015.

+ Have skills in using basic information technology, using foreign languages at a level equivalent to level 3 of the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework or using ethnic minority languages for officials working in ethnic minority areas as required by the job position.

- For candidates applying for the position of a clerical official: Have an intermediate diploma or higher with a field of study or major in administrative clerical, clerical-archival, archival, archival and information management.

In case of having an intermediate diploma or higher in another major, a certificate of clerical professional training must be issued by a competent training institution.

- For candidates applying for the positions of Storekeeper or Treasurer: have an intermediate diploma or higher majoring in finance and accounting.

In 2024, how many rounds does the entrance exam for recruitment of civil judgment enforcement officials in Vietnam include?

Under Part III of Announcement 62/TB-TCTHADS 2024, the entrance exam for recruitment of civil judgment enforcement officials in Vietnam consists of 2 rounds as follows:

Round 1: Test on competence and general knowledge

- Format: computerized multiple-choice test

- Content and time:

+ Candidates applying for the positions of specialist and accountant must take 02 sections, except for the case of exemption from foreign language test as prescribed at Point c, Clause 1, Section III of Announcement 62/TB-TCTHADS 2024.

++ Part I: General knowledge, 60 questions of general understanding of the political system, organization of the apparatus of the Party, the State, socio-political organizations; state administration; officials, civil service and other knowledge to assess competence.

Exam time: 60 minutes;

++ Part II: English language test (30 questions, exam time 30 minutes) according to the Vietnamese foreign language proficiency framework: level equivalent to level 3 for specialist and accountant positions.

+ For candidates applying for positions of clerical official, Storekeeper and Treasurer only take part I: general knowledge.

- Exemption from foreign language test for the following cases:

+ Have a diploma in foreign languages of the same training level or at a higher training level than the professional training level required by the job position;

+ Have a diploma of the same training level or at a higher training level than the professional training level required by the candidate job position granted by a foreign educational institution and recognized in Vietnam according to regulations;

+ Have certificates of ethnic minority languages or being ethnic minorities, in case of recruitment to officials working in ethnic minority areas.

- The results of round 1 are determined according to the number of correct answers for each section, if 50% or more of the questions are answered correctly for each section, the candidate can continue to round 2.

No review will be conducted for round 1 results.

Round 2: Specialized professional test

- Format: written exam

- Content: knowledge of the Party's guidelines and lines, policies and laws on recruitment sectors and fields; skills in performing official duties of officials as required by the job position to be recruited.

The contents of the specialized professional test shall follow the duties and professional standards of officials and must be suitable to the requirements for the job position to be recruited.

- Exam time: 180 minutes.

- Scoring scale: 100 points.

Thus, in 2024, the entrance exam for recruitment of civil judgment enforcement officials in Vietnam consists of two rounds: a multiple-choice test on competence and general knowledge and a specialized professional test by the written exam.
