Do employees get time off for Tet Nguyen Tieu 2024?
Article 112 of the Labor Code 2019 stipulates the holidays and Tet for employees as follows:
Holidays and Tet:
1. Employees are entitled to time off work with full pay on the following holidays and Tet:
a) Gregorian New Year: 01 day (January 1 of the Gregorian calendar);
b) Lunar New Year: 05 days;
c) Victory Day: 01 day (April 30 of the Gregorian calendar);
d) International Labor Day: 01 day (May 1 of the Gregorian calendar);
e) National Day: 02 days (September 2 of the Gregorian calendar and one day adjacent to it);
f) Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary: 01 day (March 10 of the lunar calendar).
2. Foreign employees working in Vietnam, in addition to the holidays stipulated in clause 1 of this Article, are also entitled to one traditional Tet holiday and one National Day of their country.

Article 104 of the Labor Code 2019 stipulates bonuses for employees as follows:
Bonuses:
1. Bonuses are monetary or other assets or by other means provided by the employer to employees based on the production, business results, and the level of task completion by employees.
2. The bonus regulations shall be decided and publicly announced at the workplace by the employer after consulting with the labor representative organization at the grassroots level, where there is such a representative organization.
Therefore, bonuses for employees during Tet Nguyen Tieu 2024 are decided by the enterprise based on its production and business results and implemented according to the bonus regulations decided and publicly announced by the enterprise at the workplace after consulting with the grassroots labor representative organization where such a representative organization exists.
