- Notary practice internship registration form (Form TP-TSCC-01a) or (Form TP-TSCC-01b) issued with Circular 08/2023/TT-BTP;
- Certificate of graduation from a notary training course or a certificate of completion of a notary refresher course or a decision recognizing the equivalent for those trained in notary practice abroad (a certified copy or a photocopy accompanied by the original for comparison).

Based on the regulations outlined in Subsection 1, Section 2, Part I of Administrative Procedures issued with Decision 2683/QD-BTP of 2023, the latest procedures for notary practice internship registration are as follows:
- The intern accepted by a notary practice organization shall submit directly or send via postal service or through the Public Administration Service Center, 01 set of registration documents to the Department of Justice where the notary practice organization accepting interns is located.
Within 07 working days from the day of receiving a complete and valid dossier, the Department of Justice shall issue a decision on notary practice internship registration and send the decision to the registrant and the notary practice organization accepting the intern; in case of refusal, a written response stating the reason must be provided.
- In case the eligible person for internship registration has contacted at least 03 notary practice organizations eligible for accepting interns in a province, centrally-run city, or has contacted 01 notary practice organization eligible for accepting interns in case there are 03 or fewer notary practice organizations eligible for accepting interns in the province, centrally-run city but was rejected, the dossier shall be submitted to the Department of Justice of that province, city for arrangement and registration of the notary practice internship.
Within 10 days from the day of receiving a complete and valid dossier, the Department of Justice shall review and designate the notary practice organization to accept the intern and issue a decision on notary practice internship registration and send the decision to the registrant and the designated notary practice organization; in case there is no eligible notary practice organization to accept interns in that province, city, a written response stating the reason must be provided to the applicant.
- If necessary, the Department of Justice shall conduct verification to clarify the internship registration eligibility and acceptance conditions according to the Notary Law 2014, Circular 08/2023/TT-BTP.
The maximum verification period is 10 days and is not included in the time for considering and designating the notary practice organization to accept the intern, registration of the internship.

What are the requirements and conditions for implementing the notary practice internship registration procedures?
Based on the regulations outlined in Subsection 1, Section 2, Part I of Administrative Procedures issued with Decision 2683/QD-BTP of 2023, the requirements and conditions for implementing the notary practice internship registration procedures are as follows:
The intern registrant must be eligible for internship registration (must have a certificate of graduation from a notary training course or a certificate of notary refresher course completion).
A person in any of the following cases shall not be eligible for internship registration:
- A person being prosecuted for criminal liability, convicted by a legally effective judgment from the Court for an unintentional crime not yet having had the record expunged or for a deliberate crime;
- A person being subject to administrative handling measures as per legal regulations on administrative violation handling;
- A person who has lost or has limited civil act capacity or has difficulties in cognition or control of behavior;
- A person currently holding positions such as officials and public employees (except public employees working at Public Notary Offices), officers, professional soldiers, defense workers in agencies, units of the People’s Army; officers, non-commissioned officers, workers in agencies, units of the People's Police;
- A person disciplined by dismissal, officials and public employees disciplined by dismissal, or officers, professional soldiers, workers, public employees in agencies, units of the People’s Army, officers, non-commissioned officers, workers, public employees in units of the People's Police disciplined by stripping of military rank, stripping of People's Police title, or removal from the sector;
- A person working under labor contracts for agencies, organizations, enterprises, except in cases of working under labor contracts at the notary practice organization where the person is interned or under labor contracts with agencies, organizations, enterprises where the working time does not overlap with the working days and hours of the notary practice organization accepting the intern.
