Based on Notice 5015/TB-LDTBXH 2023 regarding Lunar New Year holidays for officials, public employees, and workers as follows:
1. Officials, public employees, and workers of administrative agencies, career organizations, political organizations, political-social organizations (hereinafter referred to as officials and public employees) will have the Lunar New Year holiday in 2024 starting from Thursday, February 08, 2024 (i.e., 29th of the last month of the Year of the Rabbit) to the end of Wednesday, February 14, 2024 (i.e., 5th of the first month of the Year of the Dragon). This holiday period includes 05 Lunar New Year holiday days and 02 compensatory days off as stipulated in Clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.

Based on Article 12 of the Law on Cadres and Civil Servants 2008 which stipulates the rights of officials regarding salaries and related policies as follows:

1. The State ensures that salaries correspond to the tasks and powers assigned, in line with the socioeconomic conditions of the country. Cadres and officials working in mountainous, border, island areas, remote areas, ethnic minority areas, especially difficult socioeconomic areas, or in hazardous environments are entitled to allowances and preferential policies as stipulated by law.
2. Officials are entitled to overtime pay, night work pay, travel expenses, and other policies as stipulated by law.
Based on Article 98 of the Labor Code 2019, which stipulates overtime pay and night work pay as follows:

1. Workers working overtime are paid wages calculated based on the wage unit price or the actual wage paid for the current job as follows:

- Paid at least 300% of the wage unit price, excluding the regular wage for the holiday.- Night work is paid an additional amount of at least 30% of the wage unit price or the actual wage paid for a regular working day.- For overtime work at night during the holidays, in addition to holiday overtime pay and night work pay, workers also receive an additional 20% of the wage unit price or the wage for daytime work on a regular working day, a weekly day off, or a holiday.
