1. Develop inspection programs and plans, submit them to the President of the Provincial-level People’s Committee for decision, and organize the implementation of such programs and plans.

2. To elaborate and submit to the Provincial-level People’s Committee for promulgation legal documents of the district in the field of inspection, settlement of complaints and denunciations, prevention and combat of corruption; propose amendments and supplements to legal documents, regimes and policies in the field of inspection, settlement of complaints and denunciations, and anti-corruption.

3. Capable of researching, proposing, elaborating and commenting on legal documents and programs, plans, schemes and solutions to serve the state management of inspection, citizen reception, settlement of complaints and denunciations and prevention and combat of corruption related to the inspection sector and management areas.

Inspection

1. District-level Chief Inspectors have the task of leading, directing and inspecting inspection work within the state management scope of district-level People's Committees; leaders of district inspectorates perform their tasks and exercise their powers in accordance with this Law and other relevant laws.

2. To act as the head of the inspection teams and the head of the teams to accept and verify the cases of medium size with less complicated circumstances but involving many units and fields in the locality.

- Proposing chairpersons of district-level People's Committees to settle inspection problems; In case such recommendation is not accepted, it shall report to the provincial-level Chief Inspector.
