“Article 42. Recognition of high school graduation
1. - Contestants include:
+ Those who have completed the high school program in the year the exam is held;
+ Those who have completed the high school program but have not taken the high school graduation exam or have taken the exam but have not graduated from high school in previous years;
+ Those who already have high school diplomas and those who already have intermediate diplomas take the exam to get the results as a basis for enrollment registration;
+ Some other special cases decided by the Minister of Education and Training.
- Conditions of competition:
+ The subjects specified at Point a, Clause 1 of this Article must ensure that they are assessed in grade 12 and have their conduct rated at average or higher and their academic performance is not classified as poor; specifically for learners who are not subject to a conduct rating and those who follow the form of guided self-study under the continuing education program, the conduct rating is not required;
+ The subjects specified at Point b, Clause 1 of this Article must have a lower secondary school diploma and must ensure that they are assessed in grade 12 and have their conduct graded as average or higher and their academic performance is not classified as poor; in case of ineligibility to take the exam in previous years due to poor academic ranking in grade 12, must register and take the year-end exam for some subjects with GPA below 5.0 (year) score (at the high school where the class is 12 or the high school where the registration is registered), ensure that when taking the test score instead of the subject average to recalculate the average score for the whole year, they are eligible to take the grading exam academic qualifications as prescribed; In case of ineligibility to take the exam in previous years due to being classified as weak in conduct in grade 12, the commune-level People's Committee of the place of residence must confirm that they comply with local laws and regulations in order to be eligible to take the exam. The high school where the 12th grade is located confirms eligibility to sit for the behavioral grading exam as prescribed;
+ Subjects who have graduated from the intermediate schools specified at Point c, Clause 1 of this Article must ensure that they have studied and passed the exam with a sufficient amount of high school cultural knowledge according to the provisions of the Education Law and current guiding documents. of the Ministry of Education and Training;
+ Candidates must register and submit all documents on time.
- Register for the exam:
+ To consider the recognition of high school graduation: high school students who fall into the categories specified at Points a and b, Clause 1 of this Article must take 04 (four) exams, including 03 (three) independent tests, namely Mathematics, Literature, Foreign Languages and 01 (one) combined exam chosen by the candidate; Students of higher education who are the subjects specified at Points a and b, Clause 1 of this Article must take 03 (three) exams, including 02 (two) independent tests of Mathematics, Literature and 01 (one) combined exam. chosen by the candidate.
