According to the Admission Guidelines for the People's Police 2023, the schedule for organizing the entrance examination for the regular university-level People's Police in 2023 is as follows:
- Exam dates: The Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam in 2023 will be held on July 02 - July 03
- Test codes: Candidates choose one of two test codes to take the exam, including:

What are the application conditions for the People's Police?
The application conditions are specified in the Admission Guidelines for CAND 2023 as follows:
(1) Eligible applicants include:
- In-service public security service members;
- Citizens who have completed their obligation to participate in CAND and have been discharged within 12 months up to the application month;
- Students of the Cultural School (T11);
- Citizens permanently residing in the locality where they register for the pre-qualification.
(2) General application conditions:
Applicants, besides meeting the conditions set by the Ministry of Education and Training, must also meet the following conditions:
- Meet political, ethical standards according to the current regulations of the Ministry of Public Security.
- In-service public security service members must have served for 15 months or more up to the exam month; have been graded "Completed tasks" or higher in the year preceding the application year;
- Citizens who have completed their obligation to participate in CAND must have been graded "Completed tasks" or higher annually while in service, including at least one year graded "Well-completed tasks";
- Citizens who have completed their obligation to participate in CAND, citizens permanently residing in the locality where they register for the pre-qualification, T11 students must have an average grade of at least good in high school or equivalent (according to the academic record).
- In-service public security service members and applicants in Category 01 must have an average grade of at least average (according to the academic record).
- Citizens who have completed their obligation to participate in CAND, T11 students, must achieve at least 6.5 points in each subject in the admission combination to the CAND schools; Citizens permanently residing in the locality where they register for the pre-qualification must achieve at least 7.0 points in each subject in the admission combination to the CAND schools, and for ethnic minority applicants, at least 6.5 points (In-service public security service members and applicants in Category 01 do not have to meet this condition).
- T11 students and citizens permanently residing in the locality where they register for the pre-qualification must have good conduct during high school or equivalent, must not be married, and must not have biological children or adopted children according to the law.
- Up to the application year, T11 students and citizens permanently residing in the locality where they register for the pre-qualification must be no older than 22 years old; for ethnic minority candidates, no older than 25 years old.
- Must meet the health criteria for CAND admission according to the health standards of the Ministry of Public Security. Only candidates meeting health standards of type 1 and type 2, and specific indicators as regulated at Circular 45/2019/TT-BCA dated October 02, 2019 of the Ministry of Public Security on health standards and health examination for citizens recruited to participate in CAND are recruited.
Specifically:
+ Height:
++ For in-service public security service members, citizens who have completed their obligation to participate in CAND, height is applied according to the height criteria for recruiting citizens to participate in CAND at the time of recruitment.
++ Applicants must be between 1.64m and 1.95m tall for males, between 1.58m and 1.80m tall for females. For ethnic minorities, between 1.62m and 1.95m tall for males, and between 1.56m and 1.80m tall for females. For candidates in Category 01, between 1.60m and 1.95m tall for males, and between 1.55m and 1.80m tall for females.
+ Body mass index (BMI) calculated by weight (in kilograms) divided by the square of height (in meters) must be between 18.5 and 30;
+ If eyesight is impaired, it must not exceed 3 diopters, and vision must be 10/10 with glasses, with a total vision of 19/10 or higher (candidates not meeting the vision standards cannot be committed to having correct eyesight).
- Physical fitness test: candidates register for 2 physical fitness tests according to gender-specific exercises for males and females. Results are recorded as pass or fail.
