Pursuant to Section III, Appendix II attached to Decree 61/2024/ND-CP dated June 6, 2024, by the Government of Vietnam, the conversion table of dance-related awards in 2024 is specified as follows:
- The Gold Medal from the National Professional Performing Arts Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will be used as the standard for conversion.
- Only consider converting Gold Medals, First Prizes, Grade A Prizes, Excellence Awards, and Gold Cups from national or international professional performing arts competitions, festivals, or exhibitions for programs, performances, acts, and individuals.
- The specific conversion rates are as follows:

- For each collective dance performance awarded a Gold Medal at National Professional Performing Arts Competitions organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the participating individuals' conversion is as follows:

For a collective dance performance awarded a Gold Medal, First Prize, Grade A Prize, Excellence Award, Gold Cup at National Professional Performing Arts Competitions organized by ministries and central authorities or central specialized Literary and Artistic Associations, the award conversion for the above-mentioned Subjects will be carried out according to the conversion rate specified in point 3 of the Dance Awards Conversion Table.
- Consider and convert awards only for dance performances or collective or individual dance acts awarded at National Professional Performing Arts Competitions organized by ministries and central authorities or central specialized Literary and Artistic Associations.
- The conversion of awards for dance performances or collective dance acts to individual awards: Maximum equal to the award for the dance performance or collective dance act awarded at National Professional Performing Arts Competitions organized by ministries and central authorities or central specialized Literary and Artistic Associations.
- In a National Professional Performing Arts Competition organized by ministries and central authorities or central specialized Literary and Artistic Associations: Only one award will be considered for one creative Subject in a dance performance or collective dance act, even if awarded multiple times.

Pursuant to Article 4 of Decree 61/2024/ND-CP on the rules for awarding the People's Artist title and Artist of Merit title in Vietnam:
- Implement according to points a, b, and c, clause 2 of Article 5 of Law on Emulation and Reward 2022. To be specific:

2. Reward decisions must adhere to the following principles:
a) Accurate, public, transparent, fair, and prompt;
b) Ensure consistency between the form, rewarding subject, and merits and achievements attained;
c) A form of reward can be given multiple times to a subject; do not reward multiple times or in multiple forms for a single achievement; reward based on the extent of achievement;
- Councils at all levels may only present cases meeting all conditions, criteria, procedures, and dossiers stipulated in Decree 61/2024/ND-CP to the competent authorities for consideration.
- No consideration for awarding the People's Artist title and Artist of Merit title to co-authors of musical works and photographic works.
What are rights and obligations of individuals awarded the People's Artist title and Artist of Merit title in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 6 of Decree 61/2024/ND-CP, the rights and obligations of individuals awarded the People's Artist title and Artist of Merit title in Vietnam include:
- Individuals will receive a Badge, Certificate from the President, monetary reward, and other benefits as prescribed by law.
- Individuals are obligated to preserve the awarded items; continue to creatively work in culture and arts to produce valuable films, programs, performances, acts, and cultural art works serving the people.
