What are regulations on yielding at intersection in Vietnam?

Pursuant to Article 22 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 which regulates yielding at intersections in Vietnam:

Yielding at intersections

When approaching an intersection, road traffic vehicle operators must observe, slow down, and yield according to the following regulations:

1. At intersections of non-priority roads with priority roads or of branch roads with main roads, vehicles coming from non-priority roads or branch roads must yield to vehicles on priority roads or main roads coming from any direction;

2. At intersections without roundabout signals, vehicles must yield to those coming from the right;

3. At intersections with roundabout signals, vehicles must yield to those coming from the left.

Thus, according to regulations, when approaching an intersection, road traffic vehicle operators must observe, slow down, and yield as follows:

The Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 takes effect in Vietnam from January 1, 2025, and Clause 3 Article 10 of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety 2024 takes effect from January 1, 2026.
