What are Resolution 66 2025 amending the Regulations on the payroll for the courts and the position-based allowance coefficient in the courts in Vietnamunder Resolution 730?
The Standing Committee of the National Assembly has just issued Resolution 66/2025/UBTVQH15 regulating the amendment and supplementation of certain contents of Resolution 730/2004/NQ-UBTVQH11 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the approval of the payroll for positions, the position-based allowance scale for State leadership officials; the professional, operational payroll for the Court sector, and the Procuracy sector, which have been amended and supplemented with certain contents according to Resolution 823/2009/UBTVQH12, Resolution 973/2015/UBTVQH13, and Resolution 1212/2016/UBTVQH13.

Accordingly, Resolution 66 has amended and supplemented certain contents of the Notes in the professional, operational payroll for the Court sector and the Procuracy sector as follows:

Replace the phrase “Senior Judge” with “People’s Court Judge Level 3” in the first bullet point of section 1 and section 8.

Replace the phrase “Provincial People’s Court Judge” with “People’s Court Judge Level 2” in the second bullet point of section 1.

Replace the phrase “District People’s Court Judge” with “People’s Court Judge Level 1” in the third bullet point of section 1 and section 4.

Replace the phrase “Court Clerk” with “Clerk” in the third bullet point of section 1 and section 5.

Add the phrase “Senior Clerk” after the phrase “Senior Assessor” in the first bullet point of section 1.

Add the phrase “Principal Clerk” after the phrase “Principal Assessor” in the second bullet point of section 1.

Add to section 7 the content: “Senior Judge, Intermediate Judge, Primary Judge when transitioning to People’s Court Judge Level 3, People’s Court Judge Level 2, People’s Court Judge Level 1 will be transitioned to corresponding salary grades with the salary coefficient being enjoyed.
Furthermore, Resolution 66 also amends and supplements the titles and allowance coefficients for positions in the Court sector as follows:

How many types of court fees are there in Vietnam?
Based on Article 3 of Resolution 326/2016/UBTVQH14, the types of Court fees include:
- Criminal court fees;
- Civil court fees including fees for resolving disputes related to civil matters, marriage and family, business, commerce, labor;
- Administrative court fees.
Note: The above fees include first-instance and appellate court fees.
