a) Senior vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.05;
b) Principal vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.06;
c) Theoretical vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.07;
d) Practical vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.08;
e) Vocational education teacher - Code: V.09.02.09.
Therefore, vocational education teachers have the following professional titles:
- Senior vocational education teacher
- Principal vocational education teacher
- Theoretical vocational education teacher
- Practical vocational education teacher
- Vocational education teacher

What are the requirements of senior vocational education teachers in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 9 of Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH, the requirements are as follows:
Senior vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.05
1. Duties:
a) Teaching theory or both theory and practical training at the intermediate level; teaching at the elementary level; assessing the learning outcomes and graduation results of learners;
b) Leading professional and vocational activities in departments, faculties, vocational education institutions; leading scientific and technological tasks or technical innovation at the institutional level and above; organizing scientific and technological consultation, technology transfer; writing scientific reports, exchanging experiences in vocational education both domestically and internationally;
c) Leading or participating in the compilation or appraisal of programs, curricula, and reference materials for teaching; designing, improving, manufacturing teaching aids, teaching equipment, constructing and managing specialized classrooms;
d) Continuing education, training standardization, advanced training; internships at businesses or specialized agencies; attending teaching hours, exchanging teaching experiences; training and developing the teaching staff according to the requirements of professional and vocational development of departments, faculties, vocational education institutions;
e) Guiding internships, combined internships with productive labor; preparing learners for vocational skill exams at all levels.
2. Training and development standards:
a) Theoretical teachers must hold a doctoral degree; teachers who teach both theory and practical training must hold a master's degree or higher and have a diploma, certificate, or certification that meets the standards of vocational skills required to teach practical training at the intermediate level according to the professional and vocational standards for vocational education teachers;
b) Having a diploma or certificate that meets the standards of pedagogical professional qualifications according to the professional and vocational standards for vocational education teachers.
Therefore, senior vocational education teachers must meet the following training and development standards:
- Theoretical teachers must hold a doctoral degree; teachers who teach both theory and practical training must hold a master's degree or higher and have a diploma, certificate, or certification that meets the standards of vocational skills required to teach practical training at the intermediate level according to the professional and vocational standards for vocational education teachers;
- Having a diploma or certificate that meets the standards of pedagogical professional qualifications according to the professional and vocational standards for vocational education teachers.

Pursuant to Clause 5, Clause 6, Clause 7, Clause 8, and Clause 9, Article 14 of Circular 07/2023/TT-BLDTBXH, the salary arrangement for professional titles of vocational education teachers is as follows:
Salary arrangement for professional titles of public employees in the vocational education sector
Public employees assigned to professional titles of public employees in the vocational education sector as stipulated in this Circular will have their salaries arranged according to the corresponding parolls issued together with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP dated December 14, 2004 by the Government on salary regime for officials, public employees, and armed forces, as follows:
5. Senior vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.05, will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A3, subgrade 2 (A3.2), ranging from 5.75 to 7.55.
6. Principal vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.06, will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A2, subgrade 1 (A2.1), ranging from 4.40 to 6.78.
7. Theoretical vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.07, will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A1, ranging from 2.34 to 4.98.
8. Practical vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.08, will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A0, ranging from 2.10 to 4.89.
9. Vocational education teachers - Code: V.09.02.09, will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade B, ranging from 1.86 to 4.06.
Therefore, the salary levels for public employees who are vocational education teachers are as follows:
- Senior vocational education teachers will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A3, subgrade 2 (A3.2), ranging from 5.75 to 7.55.
- Principal vocational education teachers will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A2, subgrade 1 (A2.1), ranging from 4.40 to 6.78.
- Theoretical vocational education teachers will be assigned the salary coefficient of public employees in grade A1, ranging from 2.34 to 4.98.
