- April 16, 2024: Open for registration for the second round of the competency assessment test;- May 7, 2024: End of registration for the second round of the competency assessment test;- The second round will be organized on June 2, 2024.

At 12 provinces/cities, including: Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang.

- The results of the second round will be announced on June 10, 2024.

How to pay the fee for the 2024 Competency Assessment Round 2?

The information on the 2024 Competency Assessment test of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City clearly states the fee for the 2024 competency assessment test as follows:

Registration fee: 300,000 VND per test.

Candidates who have registered for Round 1 can still take Round 2 to increase their chances of admission.

Instructions for paying the test fee are as follows:

(1) Choose the payment method

Step 1. Click the “Payment” button;

Step 2. Click the “Select payment method” button;

Step 3. Choose the payment method for the fee.

Candidates choose one of the four electronic wallet payment methods to receive payment information:

- Method 1: Payment via Viettel Money wallet service;- Method 2: Payment via FPTPay electronic wallet service;- Method 3: Payment via Momo wallet service;- Method 4: Payment via Payoo wallet service (Payoo agent).

Step 4. Check the payment information and click the “Confirm” button;

Step 5. Proceed with the payment according to the selected payment method.

(2) Change payment method (in case candidates want to change to another electronic wallet)

(3). CHECK DOCUMENT STATUS (View “Paid fee” or “Not confirmed payment” status)

Note:

- Candidates need to carefully check payment information before making the payment. The payment fee includes the service fee of the electronic wallets.- For the document to be considered valid, candidates need to follow all the steps as instructed, and the confirmation of “Paid” on the electronic information portal must be completed by May 8, 2024.- Fees paid will not be refunded in any case.

What are the responsibilities of training institutions in university admissions?

Based on the regulations in Article 26 of the Regulation promulgated together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, the responsibilities of training institutions are as follows:

- From 2023, develop the admission regulations to specify the provisions of the Regulations promulgated together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT for different training types, and publish them on the electronic portal of the training institution.- Organize admissions according to the plan and regulations already promulgated, complying with the provisions of the Regulations promulgated together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT and the current legal regulations; perform accountability to the Ministry of Education and Training, the competent authorities, and society on all the admissions work of the training institution.- Organize internal inspections and audits, proactively resolve risks mentioned in the admissions plan of the training institution; resolve complaints, denunciations, and handle violations related to the admissions work of the training institution according to the regulations of the Regulations promulgated together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT and relevant legal regulations.- Update the list of admitted and enrolled candidates on the system no later than 30 days after the candidates complete enrollment procedures; report contents as specified in the Regulations promulgated together with Circular 08/2022/TT-BGDDT, and report admissions situation and results at the request of the Ministry of Education and Training.- Store and preserve documents related to admissions throughout the training course according to the regulations of the Archives Law 2011 and the regulations on the preservation period of professional and technical documents of the education sector.

For training institutions that organize exams, they must also keep the list of exam rooms, examination papers of candidates, examination records, and exam results according to the time frame prescribed in the Regulations on graduation exams of the Ministry of Education and Training.
