The Import-Export Department shall preside in cooperation with the Legal Department and related units to promulgate a Circular on the temporary suspension of the business of temporary import and re-export for some types of scrap.

- Coordinating with the Industry Agency to develop a list of scrap permitted for import as raw materials for production;- Studying and presenting to the Ministry's leaders a report to the Prime Minister on measures to strictly manage transit activities according to the Transit Agreements that Vietnam has signed with other countries;- Submitting reports to the Ministry's leaders for exchange with the Ministry of Finance on the strict management of bonded warehouse and transshipment activities of scrap.
