Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam issues Circular 05/2024/TT-BVHTTDL dated July 17, 2024, on Regulations on criteria, quality standards, and cost norms for service fees to support daily living support expenses for ethnic minorities invited to participate in activities at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
The norms for daily living support expenses for ethnic minorities during their stay at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism include:
- Cost norms for meal support: 120,000 VND/person/day;
- Cost norms for essential daily living items for ethnic people, including face towels, toothbrushes, bathing soap, blankets, bedsheets, pillows, mattresses, bowls, chopsticks, and basins: 15,000 VND/person/day;
- Cost norms for remunerations for ethnic people in performing traditional cultural activities at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism: 25,000 VND/person/day;
- Support costs for traditional costumes of ethnic people: 300,000 VND/person for the duration of their stay at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
Additionally, the public service provider assigned to perform the service is encouraged to use the unit's lawful financial sources and mobilize lawful sources outside the state budget to support the ethnic people beyond the above-mentioned cost norms.
Regarding the funding sources for implementation: The daily living support costs for ethnic people invited to participate in activities at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism will come from the revenue of the public service provider and state budget support for any remaining expenses (if any) according to legal regulations, ensuring it aligns with the balancing capability of the state budget.
The Circular 05/2024/TT-BVHTTDL is effective from September 15, 2024.
