Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's request for further public disclosure of information about land-related violations in Vietnam

The document from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment states: the Land Law 2013 stipulates that one of the conditions for the State to allocate land, lease land, or allow the change of land use purpose to implement investment projects is "no violation of land law regulations for cases where the land is being used due to state land allocation or lease for other investment projects" (Point c Clause 3 Article 58).

At Point b Clause 3 Article 14 and Clause 3 Article 15 of Decree 43/2014/ND-CP, dated May 15, 2014, it specifies the announcement of the status of land law violations and the results of handling land law violations on the electronic information page of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the General Department of Land Administration for other localities to look up and identify violations nationwide.

According to Article 233 of the Land Law 2024, the information on land law violations and the results of handling violations are regulated in the Monitoring and Evaluation System for land management and use, part of the national land information system.

At Article 101 and Article 102 of Decree 102/2024/ND-CP, dated July 30, 2024, it specifically regulates the monitoring, evaluating, providing, and reflecting information on land law violation situations in the national land information system.

During the time the national land information system is not yet fully completed, to publicly post cases of land law violations,

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally affiliated cities to continue directing the implementation of aggregating and publicly posting cases of violations and the results of handling land law violations (remediation of land law violations) on the electronic information portal of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally affiliated cities;

Concurrently sending the result reports to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam for public posting on the electronic information portal of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (according to the attached Forms No. 01, 02).
