Forms of periodic reports in the field of information and communication in Vietnam

On March 21, 2023, the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam issued Circular 02/2023/TT-BTTTT on periodical reporting regime within the scope of state management of the Ministry.

According to Vietnam's Circular 02/2023/TT-BTTTT, periodic reports in Vietnam are submitted in one of the following forms in order of priority:

- E-reports using the digital signatures of competent persons from agencies, organizations, or units and enclosing the file in Word, Excel, or other formats as prescribed in legislative documents establishing the periodical reporting regime.

- Written report with a competent person's signature and stamped by the agency, organization, or unit according to regulations is required for agencies and organizations that have not yet connected to the Information and Reporting System of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam.

**The reporting regime specified in legislative documents under the scope of state management by the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam; includes specific requirements for the performance of the report, is issued in response to the general information request of the agency or person having authority, and is carried out in a defined cycle, repeated many times.

Vietnam's Circular 02/2023/TT-BTTTT takes effect from June 1, 2023.
