09 Subjects eligible for 15% increase in amount of pension in Vietnam from July 1, 2024

From July 1, 2024, the following subjects will have their retirement pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances increased by 15% based on the amounts in June 2024:

(1) Officials, public employees, workers, and employees (including those who participated voluntarily in social insurance, retirees transferred from the Nghe An farmers' social insurance fund according to Decision 41/2009/QD-TTg; military personnel, public security officers, and cryptographic workers receiving monthly pensions.

(2) Commune, ward, and township officials as stipulated in Decree 33/2023/ND-CP, Decree 92/2009/ND-CP, Decree 34/2019/ND-CP, Decree 121/2003/ND-CP, and Decree 09/1998/ND-CP amending and supplementing Decree 50/CP in 1995.

(3) Individuals receiving monthly loss of labor capacity benefits under the law; individuals receiving monthly allowances under Decision 91/2000/QD-TTg and Decision 613/QD-TTg in 2010; rubber workers receiving monthly allowances under Decision 206-CP in 1979.

(4) Commune, ward, and township officials receiving monthly allowances under Decision 130-CP in 1975 and Decision 111-HĐBT in 1981.

(5) Military personnel receiving monthly allowances under Decision 142/2008/QD-TTg (amended and supplemented by Decision 38/2010/QD-TTg).

(6) Public security officers receiving monthly allowances under Decision 53/2010/QD-TTg.

(7) Military personnel, public security officers, and cryptographic workers receiving allowances equivalent to those of military personnel and public security officers under Decision 62/2011/QD-TTg.

(8) Individuals receiving monthly labor accident and occupational disease allowances.

(9) Individuals receiving monthly death allowances before 01 January 1995.

More details can be found in Decree 75/2024/ND-CP, effective in Vietnam from July 1, 2024.

Decree 42/2023/ND-CP on adjusting pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances will be invalid from the effective date of Decree 75/2024/ND-CP.
