The Gratitude Fund within the Ministry of National Defense accepts voluntary contributions to the Fund from the following entities:

- Officers, professional soldiers, national defense officials, national defense employees, and contractual workers currently working in the Ministry of National Defense (collectively referred to as salary recipients);- Non-commissioned officers, soldiers during active duty;- Agencies, units, enterprises within the Ministry of National Defense (collectively referred to as units).

Individuals not subject to the mobilization for contributions to the Fund for Showing Gratitude:

- Individuals receiving allowances according to the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for People with Meritorious Services to the Revolution;- Individuals being mobilized to contribute to the Fund for Showing Gratitude, if injured, in accident, or ill and undergoing treatment at military and civilian medical facilities during the fund-raising period.
