The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs issued Official Dispatch 4734/LDTBXH-BTXH dated November 6, 2023, evaluating the results of implementing the Law on the Elderly and programs and projects related to the elderly for the period 2010–2023.

Outline reporting on the results of the implementation of the Law on the Elderly and programs and projects related to the elderly, including:

- Outline reporting on the results of implementation of the Law on the Elderly and programs and projects related to the elderly (For ministries, branches, and central agencies);

- Outline reporting on the results of implementation of the Law on the Elderly and programs and projects related to the elderly (For People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities).

Outline reporting on the results of the implementation of the Law on the Elderly and programs and projects related to the elderly (For ministries, branches, and central agencies)

Ministries, branches, and central agencies, based on the functions and tasks assigned to the Law on the Elderly, report on the results of the implementation of the Law on the Elderly according to the following main contents:

I. EVALUATION OF IMPLEMENTATION RESULTS FOR THE PERIOD 2010-2023

1. Direction and administration work.

2. Propaganda and dissemination of policies and laws for the elderly.

3. Results of implementing policies and laws for the elderly

- Health care for the elderly;

- Caring for the elderly in cultural, educational, physical training, sports, entertainment, tourism, and public transportation activities;

- Social protection for the elderly;

- Wishing longevity, celebrating longevity, and organizing funerals;

- Promoting the role of the elderly;

- Taking care of the elderly;

- Fund to care for and promote the role of the elderly;

- Socialization of care work and promotion of the role of the elderly;

- Implementation apparatus;

- Inspection, examination, and handling of violations of the law on the elderly.

4. Inspection, supervision, and synthesis and reporting of implementation results.

5. Results of implementation of programs and projects related to the elderly

- National action program for the elderly

- Health care program for the elderly

II. DIFFICULTIES, PROBLEMS, PROBLEMS

Clearly state the difficulties, obstacles, and subjective and objective causes in the process of implementing the Law on the Elderly.
