How to Use the Gratitude Fund in the Ministry of National Defense?

Circular 06/2015/TT-BQP guiding the implementation of mobilizing contributions, managing, and using the Gratitude Fund in the Ministry of National Defense.

The Gratefulness Fund shall be utilized as follows:

1. Support for the families of military personnel, national defense officials, defense civilian employees, and contract workers currently serving in the Ministry of National Defense who have died, passed away, or been injured and confirmed as martyrs or wounded soldiers.

2. Visits and subsidies for people with meritorious services to the revolution when undergoing medical treatment, illness, death, or facing family difficulties. Visits and gifts for people with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of holidays and Tet.

3. Support for welcoming, meeting, and giving gifts to exemplary people with meritorious services in the whole army; support for those who have meritorious services to the revolution from localities visiting units and the Ministry of National Defense; support for centers for severely wounded and sick soldiers in difficulty.

4. Support for the construction of new or the repair of gratitude houses; repair and restoration of housing for people with meritorious services in the army; repair and beautify memorials to martyrs.

5. Support for people with meritorious services to the revolution or their relatives in difficult living conditions in the forms of: giving savings books, production tools, one-time subsidies, scholarships for children of martyrs and wounded soldiers.

6. Annually, the Ministry of National Defense shall deduct and submit to the Central Gratefulness Fund as prescribed.

7. Expenses for activities serving the management of the Gratefulness Fund: Propaganda, mobilizing contributions, professional training, preliminary, final reviews, purchase of office supplies, documents, inspection, commendation; the spending items stipulated in Clause 7 of this Article shall not exceed 5% of the total amount retained annually.
