Entities consuming electricity from 100,000 kWh must enter data on the Electronic Information Portal in Vietnam (Illustrative image)

According to Article 9 of Circular 25/2020/TT-BCT, before December 15 of year N-1, the Department of Industry and Trade has the responsibility to issue a letter requesting organizations and units in the region with annual electricity consumption of 100,000 kWh or more (based on the list of major electricity users provided by the Vietnam Electricity Group on the electronic information page: https://sudungdien.evn.com.vn) to report their plans for year N and the energy usage situation in year N-1. In the letter, the Department of Industry and Trade provides an account and instructions for online reporting on the Electronic Information Page http://dataenergy.vn for these organizations and units to carry out their reports.

Additionally, before April 30 every year, the mentioned organizations and units are responsible for preparing, registering plans, and reporting on their energy usage according to the content specified in Form 1.5, Appendix I issued with Circular 25/2020/TT-BCT to the Department of Industry and Trade of Vietnam on the Electronic Information Page http://dataenergy.vn.

The preparation, registration of annual plans, and reporting on energy usage of organizations and units as specified above are done in the following order and procedures:

- Organizations and units access the Electronic Information Page http://dataenergy.vn, and enter data according to the steps and instructions provided on the Electronic Information Page;

- In cases where organizations and units receive feedback from the Department of Industry and Trade requesting additions or adjustments, they must make the additions or adjustments to the plan and energy usage report on the Electronic Information Page.

Notably, organizations and units are responsible for fully implementing the annual plans after registration; fully complying with the provisions of Articles 30 and 31 of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy.
