The regulations of Clause 3, Article 1 of Decree 108/2020/ND-CP stipulate the organization of specialized agencies under the People's Committees of districts, towns, provincial cities, and municipalities in Vietnam:
The Government of Vietnam does not stipulate the minimum and maximum number of deputy headcount of specialized agencies under the District People's Committees (hereinafter referred to as Divisions), but only stipulates that each Division shall have 02 deputies on average;
Based on the number of specialized departments established and the total number of deputy headcounts, the District People's Committees shall decide specifically the number of deputy heads of each specialized division accordingly.
Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs of Dien Bien province is requested to guide the People's Committees of districts, towns, and provincial cities in Vietnam:
Based on the workload according to the functions, tasks, and local decentralization of branches and domains for each Department to decide the number of Deputy Heads of each Department according to the above regulations, ensuring that it is suitable for the work requirements of each Department in the locality.
