What is a contract for leasing assets in Vietnam?

Article 483 of the Vietnamese Civil Code 2015 defines an asset leasing contract as follows:

Asset Leasing Contract

An asset leasing contract is an agreement between the parties wherein the lessor delivers the asset to the lessee to exploit its utility, enjoy the yield, and income generated from the leased asset, while the lessee is obliged to pay the rent.

Thus, an asset leasing contract is an agreement between parties, where the lessor delivers the asset to the lessee for the purpose of utility exploitation, yield enjoyment, income generated from the leased asset, and the lessee is obliged to pay the rent.
