Vietnam: Instructions on looking up personal tax identification number just in 10 seconds

1. What is personal tax identification number

“tax identification number” or “TIN” means a series of 10 or 13 digits and other characters assigned by tax authorities to taxpayers to serve tax administration.

2. How to look up personal tax identification number

Step 1: Get access to the Information page of the General Department of Taxation at http://tracuunnt.gdt.gov.vn/tcnnt/mstcn.jsp.

Step 2: In the section "Information about personal income tax payer", enter your ID number and confirmation code as required; then click Look up.  

Step 3: View your personal tax identification number at the lookup information table shown below.
