- Organizations and individuals producing foods supplemented with micronutrients are only allowed to add micronutrients and use supplements to certain foods in accordance with the provisions of this regulation.
- Organizations and individuals producing, importing, and trading micronutrient-supplemented foods must declare conformity with the technical requirements in this Regulation and register the declaration of conformity with the Department of Security. ensure food hygiene and ensure quality, hygiene, and safety in accordance with published content.
- Organizations and individuals are only allowed to import, produce, trade, and use micronutrient supplements after completing the registration of the declaration of conformity, ensuring quality, hygiene, and safety, and recording The label complies with the provisions of this regulation and other provisions of the law.
Thus, foods supplemented with micronutrients such as fish sauce, flour, cooking oil, and sugar must meet the technical standards of each type of food. Specific micronutrients allowed to be added include: iron, zinc, and vitamin A in fish sauce and wheat flour; vitamin A in cooking oil and sugar... and the content of additional micronutrients will have a minimum and maximum limit for each type of food.
