What is a land lease contract in Vietnam?

According to Article 472 of the Civil Code 2015, a leasing contract for property is defined as follows:

A property lease contract is an agreement between parties whereby the lessor shall transfer the property to the lessee for use within a certain period, and the lessee shall pay rent.

House lease contracts and house lease contracts for other purposes shall comply with the provisions of the Civil Code 2015, the Housing Law, and other relevant laws.

A land lease contract is a type of property lease contract concerning land use rights through an agreement between parties, wherein the lessor transfers the land use rights to the lessee, who is responsible for using the land as agreed, paying land rent, and returning the land upon the expiry of the lease period.
