Applicable Subjects
- Individuals holding a bachelor's degree in relevant majors who wish to become primary school teachers (Music, Fine Arts, Information Technology, Technology, Physical Education, Foreign Languages).
- Organizations and individuals involved in the need for training and certification in professional pedagogy.
Individuals holding a bachelor's degree in the fields of Music, Fine Arts, Information Technology, Technology, Physical Education, Foreign Languages can participate in the professional pedagogical training program with the desire to become primary school teachers.

What Is the Objective of the Professional Pedagogical Training Program for Primary School Teachers in Vietnam?
Based on Section 3 of the professional pedagogical training program for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in relevant majors who wish to become primary school teachers issued alongside Circular 11/2021/TT-BGDDT, the objectives of the Program are as follows:
(1). General Objectives
Learners will acquire the essential primary school pedagogy competencies to effectively carry out educational activities and teaching related to a specific subject in primary schools, contributing to forming and developing the competencies and qualities of primary school students in alignment with the goals of the general education program.
(2). Specific Objectives
- Regarding Qualities
+ Respect and belief in the learning ability and progress of students;
+ Love for students, readiness to support them in learning and life;
+ Commitment to nurturing and promoting each student's ability; passion for their profession, pride in their profession, dedication to their profession;
+ Awareness of the necessity of self-training and professional self-development.
- Regarding Educational Competencies
+ Apply psychological knowledge and educational theories relevant to the primary school age to fulfill the educational duties for primary school students;
+ Apply knowledge of pedagogical communication with colleagues, parents, students, and the community in educational activities;
+ Effectively implement behavior management activities to help develop the personality of primary school students;
+ Successfully coordinate school activities with families and communities to develop primary school students' competencies.
- Regarding Teaching Competencies
+ Apply knowledge of primary school psychology, education theories, and subject teaching theory to teach at the primary school level;
+ Analyze the general education program at the primary school level and subject curriculum, identifying the relationships among subjects at the primary school level, subject goals with the educational level's goals;
+ Analyze lesson structures, select appropriate teaching content, design lesson plans, or themes for specific subjects at the primary school level, focused on competency development;
+ Determine teaching methods and techniques aimed at developing learners' competencies, applying them to practice organizing teaching activities;
+ Utilize information technology (IT) in teaching and educational activities;
+ Describe and systematize the methods and forms of assessing students' learning outcomes and overall development, as well as for specific subjects.
- Regarding Student Development Orientation
+ Understand the educational subject, determine students' developmental directions; support students' development; provide guidance to parents on student development.
- Regarding Social Activity Competencies
+ Fully comply with school and social conduct rules and grassroots democratic regulations;
+ Participate in community and professional activities; guide students to engage in community activities;
+ Mobilize various social forces to participate in educational activities.
- Regarding Professional Development Competencies
+ Conduct professional activities based on lesson studies, demonstrate skills in communication, cooperative work for professional development;
+ Implement applied pedagogical research, self-learning, and self-training activities for professional development; innovate in solving practical issues at primary schools;
+ Have a proper understanding of personal professional development, develop a professional development plan, and self-assess professional development outcomes.
What Is the Credit Load of the Professional Pedagogical Training Program for Primary School Teachers in Vietnam?
According to Subsection 1, Section 4 of the professional pedagogical training program for individuals holding a bachelor's degree in relevant majors who wish to become primary school teachers issued alongside Circular 11/2021/TT-BGDDT, the program's credit load is as follows:
Total: 35 credits, including:
- Compulsory Part (CP): 31 credits.
- Elective Part (EP): 04 credits.
(One credit is equivalent to 15 theory periods; one theory period is equivalent to 02 discussion or practical periods).
