What things shall students in Vietnam bring for military training?
Military training, also known as national defense education or national defense and security education.
The national defense and security education program in higher education institutions is an important part of the student training curriculum.
This is clearly stipulated in Section III of the national defense and security education program in teacher training colleges, vocational schools, and higher education institutions issued along with Circular 05/2020/TT-BGDDT.
The national defense and security education subject in higher education institutions is developed based on the training objectives and specific requirements.
Consisting of four main modules, this program aims to provide students with knowledge about national defense, security, and related issues.
The total duration of the program is 165 periods, divided into lectures, discussions, and practical activities.
Currently, there are no specific regulations on what students need to bring to military training.
This is the school's specific regulation and will be informed to students before the military training period.
However, students going to military training can refer to the following items:
- Toothpaste, toothbrush, face towel, bath towel, facial cleanser, sunscreen, study tools, student card, and clothes hangers to help your clothes dry faster.
- Students should prepare a phone with a 3G or 4G network, a hand fan, and cash. This will help you easily "survive" this military training period.
- Next is to prepare pharmaceuticals for emergencies such as stomach medicine, cold medicine, wind oil, bandage, and mosquito repellent.
- Students going to military training need to bring 1-2 thin notebooks (that can be torn), examination paper, and a pen to take notes.
*Note: Students going to military training should not bring valuable items such as jewelry, laptops, etc., and do not need to bring too much cash as those staying in dormitories can go home on weekends.
