What is a military pilot? What are the undergraduate majors required to become military pilots in Vietnam?
Military pilots are a specialized profession of the Vietnam People's Army with specific conditions and standards.
To become a military pilot, you will attend military undergraduate and college programs specializing in military aviation at the Air Force Officer School (specializing in military piloting).
In 2024, the enrollment target for military undergraduate and college programs at the Air Force Officer School is 185, recruiting male candidates nationwide.
Moreover, because military piloting is a distinct and specialized field, it is not aligned with a particular undergraduate major like that for commercial airline pilots.
Currently, the Air Force-Air Defense Service is responsible for training military pilots in Vietnam.
