Based on Section 3 of the Refresher training program according to the standards of the primary school teachers issued together with Decision 2001/QD-BGDDT in 2023, the program contents include the following:

* Volume of knowledge and training time

(1) The program comprises 08 topics, structured into 03 parts:

- Part 1: General knowledge (consisting of 03 topics).

- Part 2: Professional activity knowledge (consisting of 05 topics).

- Part 3: Evaluation of training results.

(2) Training time:

- Total duration: 03 weeks x 05 working days/week x 08 hours/day = 120 hours (can be organized on weekends, total duration 120 hours).

- Time allocation:

+ Theory, discussion: 72 hours;

+ Handling case studies, practical guidance: 44 hours;

+ Evaluation of training results: 04 hours.

To be specific: 8 topics:

Part 1: General knowledge (consisting of 03 topics).

Topic 1: State management of general education

Topic 2: Trends in general education development worldwide, Vietnam's general education development strategy

Topic 3: Legal regulations on policies for developing the general education teacher workforce

Part 2: Professional activity knowledge (consisting of 05 topics).

Topic 4: Developing the professional competence of primary school teachers

Topic 5: Competence to support colleagues in primary education professional development

1. Objectives

- To assess the knowledge and skills acquired by trainees from the Refresher training program for the primary school teacher professional title over 03 weeks.

- To evaluate the ability to apply knowledge and skills acquired in the practical work of the primary school teacher professional title.

2. Requirements

- Regarding the timing of the assessment: To be held at the end of the course.

- Regarding the form of assessment: The training establishment organizes the evaluation of training results using one of the following methods:

+ Examination (essay or a combination of essay and objective test);

+ Report writing;

+ Essay writing as prescribed by the training establishment.

- Regarding the content of the assessment: Ensuring that it meets the evaluation objectives mentioned in Section 1 of this Part and is graded on a 10-point scale.

Information about the evaluation of training results shall be specifically detailed in the program materials, training regulations, and provided to trainees for self-study and research at the beginning of the course.

The format for evaluating the training results of primary school teachers can be by examination, report, or essay.

What are the requirements for lecturers in primary school teacher refresher training?

Based on Section 5 of the Refresher training program according to the standards of the primary school teachers issued together with Decision 2001/QD-BGDDT in 2023, the requirements for lecturers participating in primary school teacher training are as follows:

- Must have the knowledge, skills, and experience appropriate to the content of the topics assigned to teach;

- Must understand the level, knowledge, and aspirations of the trainees; regularly update information to supplement, improve, innovate the content, teaching methods, and data for teaching;

- Must use appropriate teaching methods to achieve the training objectives; guide, encourage, and promote the practical experience of trainees during the learning process;

- Must comply with the program and materials concerning the timing of theoretical teaching, discussion, practice, and guiding the solution to practical case studies;

- Must demonstrate good political ideology; interact amicably and exhibit cultured, polite attitudes in communication with trainees.
