- Production organizer;
- Content editor at the communication department of companies, enterprises, agencies, units;
- Communication specialist;
- Social media management.

What are the knowledge requirements for college students majoring in multimedia communication in vietnam?
Based on Subsection 2, Section A, Part 1 of the Regulations issued together with Circular 41/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the knowledge requirements for college students majoring in multimedia communication upon graduation are as follows:
- Present the position, role of multimedia communication in the media industry, and characteristics of multimedia communication product production activities, social effects, and the impact of multimedia communication products on the media audience;
- Describe the organizational structure, functions, and tasks of the media department and other departments in journalism agencies, communication companies, agencies, units with communication activities; the relationship between the media department and related departments;
- Analyze the basic processes of multimedia communication product production: product design, product production, product distribution, interaction with the audience, and other services;
- Describe the planning process, organization, supervision, inspection, and evaluation of work results in the journalism-communication activities department;
- List the basic tasks in personnel management, infrastructure management, financial management, and distribution management in multimedia communication activities;
- List the main machines and equipment of the departments in journalism agencies, communication companies, agencies, units with communication activities, and explain their uses;
- Present the principles of ensuring security and safety and explain why compliance with security and safety regulations in multimedia communication product production is necessary to recognize risks and preventive measures;
- Present basic knowledge on politics, culture, society, law, national defense security, and physical education as required.

Based on Subsection 3, Section A, Part 1 of the Regulations issued together with Circular 41/2018/TT-BLDTBXH, the skill requirements for college students majoring in multimedia communication upon graduation are as follows:
- Develop operational plans such as: production plans, personnel plans, work assignment plans, training and professional development plans, equipment and tool procurement plans, conference, seminar, or event organization plans; prepare various templates, reports, statements, internal documents, and common contracts within the communication industry;
- Manage daily tasks and effectively handle working time; supervise, inspect, evaluate work results ensuring correct processes and standards, identify causes hindering operations, and propose solutions to enhance production and distribution effectiveness;
- Apply technology in the field of multimedia communication product production; correctly and safely use equipment serving the production and distribution of journalism-communication products; have a sense of responsibility in using and preserving assets within the company, agency, or unit;
- Train, instruct, and mentor practical skills for interns and new employees;
- Use basic information technology according to regulations; exploit, process, and apply information technology in professional communication industry tasks;
- Use basic foreign language skills, achieving level 2/6 in the Vietnam foreign language proficiency framework; apply foreign language skills in professional communication industry tasks.

General introduction about the industry, profession
Multimedia communication at the college level is a major that trains students with professional knowledge and practical skills, the ability to develop and promptly adapt to the development of the multimedia communication industry, meeting level 5 requirements in the Vietnam National Qualification Framework.
Learners are trained with practical knowledge in the field of multimedia communication, extensive theoretical knowledge about journalism-communication, understanding the role and position of the communication profession in the country's development. In addition, learners in the multimedia communication profession are equipped with basic knowledge in politics, culture, society, law, and information technology applications for the communication field. From there, learners have cognitive skills, professional practice skills, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to handle tasks or issues arising in the multimedia communication product production process, capable of working independently or in groups in dynamic working conditions with potential changes and new issues. In terms of responsibility, learners recognize and fulfill personal responsibilities, guidance, supervision, and evaluation responsibilities for the group according to the assigned tasks.
Depending on the job position and workplace, the scope of work and specific tasks of workers vary, but all participate in either the entire or part of the process of producing and distributing journalism-multimedia communication products, from conceptualizing the content to producing and distributing the product.
Minimum knowledge volume: 2,000 hours (equivalent to 71 credits).
Thus, the total credit requirement for a college degree in multimedia communication is 71 credits.
