- Rhyme: Typically, internal or consecutive rhyming is used. Internal rhyme connects the last word of the 6-syllable line with the 6th syllable of the 8-syllable line. Consecutive rhyme connects the last word of the 8-syllable line with the last word of the following 6-syllable line.

- Rhythm: Usually broken into rhythms of 2/4 or 3/3.

- Topic Selection: Choose a familiar subject such as family, friends, school, nature, etc.

- Outline: Identify the main ideas to convey, arranging them logically.

- Writing the Poem:

What are regulations on periodic assessment for grade 6 students in Vietnam?

According to the regulations in Article 7 of Circular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT, the periodic assessment forms for lower secondary school students are as follows:

- Periodic assessment (not applicable to clusters of study topics), including mid-term and end-term assessments, is conducted through: tests (on paper or computer), practical assignments, study projects.

+ The duration of the tests (on paper or computer) for subjects with up to 70 periods/year is 45 minutes, for subjects with more than 70 periods/year it's between 60 to 90 minutes; for specialized subjects, it's a maximum of 120 minutes.

+ For tests (on paper or computer) scored by points, the tests are structured based on a matrix and specifications of the test, meeting the requirements stated in the subject's curriculum.

+ For tests (on paper or computer) assessed by comments, practical assignments, and study projects, guidelines and evaluation criteria must align with the required achievements stated in the subject's curriculum before implementation.

- Each subject with assessments by comments has one (1) mid-term and one (1) end-term assessment per semester.

- Each subject with combined assessment by comments and points has one (1) mid-term score (abbreviated as ĐĐGgk) and one (1) end-term score (abbreviated as ĐĐGck) per semester.

- Students who do not partake in the required number of assessments for unavoidable reasons are allowed to have make-up assessments equivalent to the missed ones. Make-up assessments are conducted per semester.

- Students who do not partake in make-up assessments are evaluated as Not satisfactory or receive a zero (0) score for the missed assessments.
