1. Textbooks used in lower secondary schools are approved by the Minister of Education and Training; the provincial People's Committee organizes the selection of textbooks as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training. Lower secondary schools guide teachers and students to use textbooks in accordance with legal provisions.
2. Teaching equipment used in schools includes those on the list of teaching equipment issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and other teaching equipment according to the general education program regulations.
3. Schools select and equip teaching devices and reference publications for teaching and educational activities in accordance with the regulations of the Minister of Education and Training.

- Students who complete primary education at a multi-level school and meet the Ministry of Education and Training's provisions are certified by the principal in the academic records for completing the primary education program.
- Students who complete secondary education and meet the Ministry's conditions will be granted a lower secondary school diploma by the Head of the Education and Training Department.
- Students who complete upper secondary school education and meet the Ministry's conditions will be allowed to take the graduation exam, and if they meet the criteria, they will be issued a upper secondary school diploma by the Director of the Department of Education and Training. Students who complete upper secondary school education and meet the exam conditions but do not take the exam or fail the graduation exam will be given a certificate of completion of the general education program by the principal.
